When I think about my past, I start to question whether my father was emotionally abusive on me. He never lets me rest. He wants me to cook, clean and not to be stressed or angry all the time. At least that's how I feel around him.

Well, my father is a handsome narcissist who just care about his own butt. My mom is control greedy psychopath who drains out energy from destroying someone's ego. I stopped to have real emotions as child because this is what makes me vulnerable. It was a survival strategy. You aren't victim of your father's pathology you're a product of it. Like I am product of my mom.

seems like your dad was just like that because that's how he was brought up and he was trying to "prepare" you to do everything for your future husband because he thinks guys don't have to lift a finger and all they have to do is go to work and come home. as far as he's concerned, cooking cleaning, etc are girly things (they're not)

Emotional abuse is subjective. Your feelings are hurt because you were taught to be a woman not just a self centred girl. But your self centred tendencies still hunt you until this day to question your father's intent... perhaps some detail is missing in your story which is another female victim tendency. I'd leave you with two words. Grow up.
