For a few decades I mostly read serious stuff. But I missed reading just for fun like when I was a kid. So about 15 years ago I started reading just for entertainment again. I read enough serious stuff online. When I read actual books, it's me time and comfort zone.
I'm not really a book nerd but I do love my comics and some manga. I have thought of starting to read, I was thinking LOTR and the Witcher series so I think I would enjoy more fantasy, I don't think that is classified as sci-fi.
I think that’s a good place to start with novels
I read historical fiction, the older the better. I also enjoy litfic, historical fantasy and magical realism. I’m going through a stage right now where I’m reading a lot of classics, but really just anything that looks interesting or is recommended to me.
I mostly read graphic novels and some chapter books

Like keep ndle unlimited says I've read 800 books in the last 59 weeks.
I wish you didn't have the nonfiction in with self help. Ugh I love books where I learn things from, but I find selfcare books to be cheesy, self aggranddizing and basically dumb in general
Sorry about that and I do agree
No worries! Book stores tend to do the same thing! Love the question by the way

Why did you have to lump non-fiction with self help? I read non-fiction all the time, but never self help.
