My brother is having issues with his wife lately. He goes to parties some Saturdays and comes home drunk. However, he's not an aggressive drunk. He's still affectionate towards their twin daughters and young son. They saw him drunk a couple times. His wife doesn't like it.

They were both just 19 when the girls were born. The girls are now 8 year-olds. Then their younger son is 6 years old. Certain days he feels there should be a bit of free time to party with friends. After all he's only 27.

I think his youth got taken away so early. Can a young married man still go to parties?

I don't know how I feel about it. It’s cozy as it’s been raining here daily. But I’m short and it looks bulky not sexy. I wanted to return it but some reason I can’t. I like it and in any store I will never find a plaid sweater like this. What do u guys think? Maybe I’m just insecure of my height. But I do see people stare at my sweater in Public as they like it.

Whether it is because of feminism or something else, i don't know.

It is not only with dating that women are encouraged to step into more traditionally masculine roles. This can be seen in the rise of women entering fields such as technology, finance, and engineering, which have historically been male-dominated.

ON THE OTHER HAND, Society views negatively men who step into traditionally feminine roles such as homemaking or men who enter traditionally feminine careers such as teaching. These men are usually seen as less masculine or even emasculated for not conforming to traditional gender roles and expectations. They may be subject to ridicule or discrimination, and may find it difficult to be taken seriously or respected in their chosen field. Doesn't this have negative effects? it can also prevent men from being full-time caretakers or homemakers, and prevent them from being involved in the upbringing of their children. Many men already think taking care of their child is "being on baby duty" or "babysitting".

28F, I sold my condo 2 months ago & moved back in with my mom to save up money for my future home. The longest my mother and I have gone without talking was a yr back in 2020 & we were back in good terms fall 2021. Since I’ve moved back in that broke the streak, this is our second argument since last month.

We haven’t spoken for two wks and we had a concert scheduled tonight, along with her boyfriend. I decided I don’t want to go again, she texted me last night when she was at my grandmas place to confirm & I told her I don’t think I want to go again. I was going to text her this morning if she didn’t ask & she went off. Only downside is she has to take an Uber & I already paid her for the tickets, since is the convo:

Her: Dan are you going to see Air Supply tomorrow?

Me: I was going to message tomorrow morning, I don’t think so

Her: Is it cause we’re not speaking?

Me: No

Her:It’s unfortunate you’re not going because I know you like them. It would have been nice if you had the decency to let me know that you were planning to cancel all along. This is the second time concert wise that after money is spent that you make these decisions. I won't bug you to go to concerts again because it’s not cool how you play these games.

Me: Are you serious? I was going to tell you tomorrow morning & I paid you back for the tickets, you’re just having to pay for an Uber? Whatever

Her: Uber is not the issue. I am going regardless so don’t go there. I am talking about how we made plans and you did not have the decency to tell me that you changed your mind. You’re too caught up in your ways to realize what I’m saying so I won’t waste my time.
