My kitchen is obviously not finished at all I just need help which set up looks better. I plan push the kitchen counter to the corner of the wall then next to it put a mini stainless steel fridge with the microwave on top of it. The black cheap folding table will be gone in few days. Ignore the mess on the floor. The brown furntire will be painted white. And I’m getting a stainless steel trash can. Also do I remove the grey rug? I like grey wood floor but I have brown wood floor unfortunately

Or do I place my dining table and kitchen cart like this, but my studio is a weird shape. Also my chairs are too big to make it like a cool kitchen island and table in the middle.

I spoke with the manager on site today & was informed that the hearing committee will have the board fine the tenants landlord/owner of the unit. I posted last that I had a feeling something went down, her boyfriend flicked my camera off & she was frantically pacing up and down the block after the hearing happened. I didn’t attend, the office suggested I shouldn’t go to avoid confrontation & I hoped my documentation would suffice. The property Mgr warned me prior to hearing that the hearing notice wouldn’t guarantee a fine but the second I gave a police report his toned changed. Because this is her first offense, it was $100. And the property Mgr informed me that this is the first time a hearing was held for a noise complaint, at least for the 7 years he’s been there. Realistically speaking, is it likely this fine will keep my shit neighbor in check? Once fine is addressed, the process repeats itself: warning then hearing notice to potentially fine.

My street our having a street party on Saturday. I recently had a meeting with the rest of the ladies in the street and they seemed all really nice and sweet.

It's my boyfriends families street really but I moved in with him in October. We our the youngest family in the street by 20 years or so. They've all known my boyfriend and his stister since they were very young as they were the only children in the street so they've seen them both grow up.

It's my first Street party ever because were I'm from people keep themselves to themselves. They are all very close neighbours and all talk to each other.

I want them to have a really good impression of me. For some people in the street it will be the first time meeting me.

I just ran my first full marathon on Sunday.

It was an incredible experience. Definitely plan on doing it again soon.

You really think they were the love of your life, your soulmate, etc. Then it turns out, they were using you (for years) the whole time.

All of the sudden, all that passionate love you had for them turns into hatred. You find them so disgusting that you wish they got run over by a car. In your eyes, they became an ugly monster. If you can go from one extreme feeling to other then is pure passionate love BS?

I'm reading there has to be more compassionate love and it's slowly built, not just passionate love that fades.
