Obviously, Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN were right-wing from the outset.

But in the last decade or so, right-wing billionaires have been buying up other media outlets.

Both CNN and CBS are now owned as part of the SkyDance by David Ellison (CBS was already bowing to Trump's pressure in order to have the merger allowed).

Since 2014, the Washington Post is owned by Jeff Bezos, and suddenly stopped endorsing presidential candidates.

Twitter, of course, was bought by Musk and let the deplorables run free.

The US operations of TikTok are to be sold to a consortium of investors in the US including close Trump ally Larry Ellison of Oracle (father of David Ellison).

YouTube, TikTok and Meta have all turned down the trailer - paid advertising - for the Oct. 9 documentary "Musk", citing “political” content.

Meta locked No Kings organizers out of their Instagram accounts as the protests began yesterday.

There is a massive, ongoing debate floating around social media right now claiming that Michael Jackson is statistically ranked as the second most famous person to ever walk the earth, right behind Jesus Christ. Some pop culture commentators and historians even argue that if we are strictly talking about fame achieved while still alive, Michael Jackson actually experienced a much higher level of literal global saturation.

When Jesus was on earth, his fame was geographically limited to his region, and his global reach expanded over thousands of years through history and scripture. Meanwhile, at the absolute peak of his career in the '80s and '90s, Michael Jackson was estimated to be recognized by roughly 4.8 billion people across the entire planet—all without the help of Instagram, TikTok, or streaming platforms.

Personally, it sounds a little wild to compare a pop singer to the central figure of the world's biggest religion, and I know religious text purists would find it completely crazy. But when you look at how people would literally faint, cry, and lose their minds just looking at MJ's face in any country on earth, he really did have an otherworldly, almost deity-like aura surrounding him.

Do you think it's fair to say Michael Jackson achieved a level of worldwide recognizability that puts him right up there on a historic, Christ-level scale of notoriety, or is that just pure hyperbole?

When you look at the sheer scale of global stardom that Michael Jackson achieved during his peak, it feels completely unprecedented. He wasn't just a popular musician; he was a cultural powerhouse recognized in the most remote corners of the earth, causing actual mass hysteria and fainting crowds wherever he went.

Today, the entire media landscape is totally fragmented. Because of streaming services, social media algorithm bubbles, and the constant overexposure of celebrities on TikTok and Instagram, it feels like that unified pop-culture mystery is permanently dead. Mainstream fame is split into a million different directions, and nobody seems to hold the collective attention of the entire planet all at once anymore. If you see a celebrity posting their everyday breakfast on a phone screen, that larger-than-life superhero aura is gone.

Do you think the entertainment industry's modern structure makes it completely impossible for another human being to ever reach that level of universal, legendary fame, or are we just living in a completely mediocre era for true superstars?

Is Michael Jackson’s level of fame almost forbidden to ever happen again?

Do you think any modern artist will ever be able to duplicate the universal, larger-than-life global fame of Michael Jackson?

Courts that lean to the right have been against the Executive Order. If Trump loses that , he is all but done the next two years. A lion without teeth. The war in Iran ends and Tariffs end and inflation goes down with gas and Diesel prices.
