There comes a certain point where people's skepticism just becomes illogical and I'm not sure why this ends up being the case.

Here's an example. So there's this guy rick strassman right? In the 90's he was approved to start doing DMT research or dimethyltryptamine and administered 400 doses of it into about 5 dozen people or 60 people.

Now here's where it gets crazy. Most of them i think it was around 80-85% of them all reported seeing and feeling similar things something along the lines of being jettisoned out side their body, meeting very ethereal creatures of some sort, coming back and just having their lives completely changed which the doctor couldn't believe.
This was even more interesting considering that this was unlike any other substance, since with other substances you are aware that you are on something, but with dmt it doesn't feel like that at all.

Now naturally you got people calling fraud or other such things, i even had one person who was so skeptical, that he was convinced that all the patients were either lying or deluded about it.

So wait, You would sooner believe that all 60 or so people who reported seeing the exact same thing and interacting with said things for extended periods of time were all just deluded? Imagine taking that mindset and putting it in any other situation. Take 60 people claiming to witness a murder, all of them report seeing the same thing, they go into deep detail, and their stories match up..."meh they're just deluded." In my opinion that's WAY more illogical.

But what do you guys think, did they just make up or hallucinate the whole thing or did it actually happen. I'm inclined to believe it did since i find it hard to believe that so many people can go into such detail about a delusion, and have all of their accounts be consistent with one another.

I know the answer I'll likely get, but hey maybe i'll get a surprise who knows?

How is your God like? What attributed and roles does he/she has?

The majority of the world population believes there is a God but cannot agree with the attributes that he/she has nor the work that he/she does.

Which of the following sounds like your God?
Perhaps your God is a combination of several of these characteristics.

Does a cult simply become viewed as a religion once it has enough followers? Ignoring the official procedure for granting a movement/cult/group religious status, what does it take for the public to view a group as a religion rather than a cult?

What to do when Jehovah's Witness or Mormons come to your door and you have your own faiths and or beliefs? I hate to turn people away but i was raised as Protestant faith I'm kind and I respect all peoples religion even Atheists i respect them too.
