My husband does not love me the way I want to be loved. He does not want to spend time with me doing things like board games or card games. He does not want to do chores together, like cooking or cleaning. Either he does it and I leave or I do it and he leaves. He just wants to be left alone to play video games with his "Fake Friends", whom don't even want to spend time with him in real life. He does not come to bed with me, we haven't had sex in many years. I ask him to have sex and he always has some excuse, like his body hurts, or he is tired or let's try tomorrow which means never. He spends a ridiculous amount of money on really dumb things that he never uses and gets mad at me for pointing it out. I try to save and invest. He really loves to smoke, and I do not. He just seems to care about himself and I try to care for him and for us. I try to get a baby sitter but he says stuff like "you can go on your stupid date night by yourself". He is always mad at me. I ask him "really, you want me to cancel?" and he doesn't answer. He is always bragging about himself and says things to me that seems like he only does things to sound like he is "better" than me. I some times wish I was not with him. I was with someone who liked to watch movies with me, enjoyed my company, tried to plan date nights with me, and so on. I tried to plan a movie date night with him and he looked annoyed and totally pissed. It just makes me sad. I am now eating a bowl of ramen to "comfort" myself.

Guy messages me every single day usually for morning till we go to bed. Casually in conversation said he talks to me more than anyone else. Hung out a couple of times, has tried inviting himself to things I am doing, and 95% of the time reaches out first. I rarely reach out first. If he doesn't respond or leaves me on read, usually hours later he'll reach back out or eventually responds to whatever it is he left me on read with.
Met about a month and a half before he left for college in another town, so now the ability to hang out is not quite as easy, I'm very busy with work and school, and of course he's in another town.
We played video games together, he would call me on the phone when we do instead of using a headset (haven't much since school started thought) and occasionally facetimes me. A couple weeks back we facetimed for 3 hours straight.
Downside, he occasionally calls me "bro" or "dude" and talked about a girl he'd met at the college that he was really frustrated with her cause he likes her but her immaturity bother's him. Told me what he was looking for with a girl (which, ironically was describing exactly what we have almost down to a T). I gave him advice on what to do, and that was kind of the end of him discussing girls with me. Other downside, I am older than him.
Cannot distinguish between if he views me as a good friend and buddy, or something more.
Is he just stringing me along and wasting my time, or am I just not being obvious enough about my feelings? Seems like he's getting a little bit distant now, unsure if it's because I'm not really showing interest because I've been afraid to because I am older than him.

He is on the conceited side and he’s been rubbing me the wrong way recently, more than usual. He bought a game recently we’ve been talking about for some time, I bought it before him and he sent a pic showing he bought it. I replied acknowledging he caved in and he said “Wanted to make sure I could help you get through it 😝”. And I was like what’s that supposed to mean and he replies with the 🤐 emoji. Mind you, we play another game together and I never asked for help from him with this specific game we just bought. I didn’t reply and I’m really turned off
