Have you ever pretended to work your dream profession?

Anonymous
I'm studying to be an officer and when I was little, I did pretend to be one from time to time but only acted like one a few times in my daily life as a kid.

I went around breaking up fights on the playground (there were literally dozens of fights every single day at recess) and I "pulled over" two kids on my bike at my brother's baseball game who were mocking players on the field, when I showed my fake badge and handcuffs, they ran away screaming, sounding like little kindergarten girls when they were older than me. It did work, they never mocked anyone again on the field after that.

I've also bought fake gear as a kid and worn it, drawing in the mirror and playing around, but throughout my pretending to be an officer, I've kept my actions very harmless.

What I'm seeing lately is that some people, especially security guards, live out that fantasy in a much more harmful way, the most infamous actor in this is Jeremy Dewitte, who's a convicted felon and sex offender who owns a funeral escort business and routinely illegally pulls people over and harasses them while wearing a fake uniform, fake squad cars and motorcycles, sirens, fake guns, custom faux badges.

I can't stand this idiot as he's not only breaking so many laws in his impersonating of a police officer, he's also fueling anti police belief systems by ruining people's experiences with law enforcement officers as the average person can't tell that he's not really law enforcement.

However, LEO's know who he is and can tell he's not a real law enforcement officer, the man in this video is a prime example of that. The man he's attempting to pull over (he can't legally do that as he's not in law enforcement) and threatening is apparently a real police officer from another state visiting and he said what we've all been waiting for someone to day, "stop pretending you're a police officer"😂
