I'm a junior, he's a senior and we're both feeling something for each other (we just talked about it). The only thing is that we're both very confused as to what to do. Ultimately, our options seems to be:

#1) Get together, enjoy the rest of the school year, summer, etc. Stay together even while he's in college. Eventually have a really good, lasting relationship.

#2) Get together, enjoy the rest of the school year, etc, but break up due to long distance relationship (since he'll be in college).

#3) End things now and save ourselves from possible heartbreak (then proceed to eat lots of chocolate and cry).

Additionally, he said he's set on going with another girl to senior prom (apparently it's a friend thing he has to do). I really care about this guy and I swear he's very serious about things and very smart. We just don't know what our next step should be :(

Growing up, I was the very definition of a late bloomer! I went on not one single date throughout high school and didn’t even have a date at proms or homecomings. I didn’t experience my very first kiss until I was 18 years old. I had never been romantically held in a man’s arms until I was legally an adult at 18. No man had ever seen me naked or experienced me sexually until I was 21 years old. The chance to practice sexual intimacy never happened until after I had been on this Earth for just over TWO DECADES and it has done absolute wanders for my journey! :D Back in high school, my inexperience used to make me feel self-conscious like I was missing out on some grand beauty in life. But now that I’m getting older and witnessing what early exposure to sexuality and romance can do to someone’s spirit and their future, I am SO happy and proud of myself for reserving these experiences for specifically only for guys who truly deserve it. It has made it so much easier to upkeep my emotional, psychological, and sexual health. Sex and romance have not distracted me from fulfilling my goals and making my dreams come true. It’s so much easier to just stay focused and commit my precious, divine energy to things that aren’t so risky.

Now I’m aware that this is not the route for everyone. Things happen and this path can become damn near impossible to follow. I just had to share my experience and the power it has had over my life’s direction : ) There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of sharing your body with a grown man who’s operating on an entirely higher quality vs. sharing such impactful experiences with little boys who are too premature to handle things correctly. Feels so amazing, the wait was totally worth it! Hopefully, this post can inspire someone! What about you? What are your experiences in relation to this topic?
