My boyfriend and I have been together for three years... Three amazing but sometimes excruciating years. The first year was complete romance and non stop suprises... I was his high school sweet heart as he was mine... Now that he's working & I am in college, it's changed... I understand that but, for some reason I see my dad in him every time I see him... Anyways, yesterday was my first time seeing him in a week as we live two hours apart (always have), I see him every week, once a week. We play fight , joke around a lot and normally when he tells me I'm annoying he's joking but he wasn't this time... Lately he seems irritated with me no matter what I say or do, I always say sorry sarcastically because usually things he's getting annoyed with now, are small... From the way I eat to the way I talk.. It is starting to become hurtful and I tell him this but he always blows it out of proportion.. He also told me that the only reason he was probably still with me is because he loves my family... What should I do? We usually break up around summer time because he gets busy with work and I get busy with school and work,,, it becomes difficult and not just that, he wants to party and things... But he's calming down a lot more which is good. When he hears of guys talking to me , or sees something on my Instagram such as a picture of me looking good, he decides he wants me back and we just continue on from where we left off but lately I'm feeling down because of him. I don't want to be childish and ignore him because he said I'm annoying but maybe the only reason our relationship works out eventually is because when we aren't together he kinda fights for me back & realizes what he has to lose... Is it childish for me to start ignoring him more? Not responding to his texts or calls as fast as I do? What should I do to "stop" annoying him?
