So here is the thing. I have more than a 100 pictures on social media, and almost ALL of them include just me. People have often asked me, out of curiosity, why I don't have pictures with friends or even family.

I hardly have friends, especially not the kind to hang out with. Most people these days (of my age) are into partying, drinking and stuff, but I completely refrain from alcohol and cigarettes, and am not a fan of the hook-up culture. I am not a party person at all, and I prefer stuff like movies, restaurants, concerts etc. as my modes of entertainment.

I just don't find people to hang out with, who would also not find me too 'different'. So I just prefer to do things solo. Most of my pictures are those taken by random strangers, when I requested them for it. And I have always joked that my headphones are my most trusted companions, because that's how I keep myself entertained when I go out by myself. I'm pretty much used to this, I never feel awkward when I watch a movie by myself or dine at a classy restaurant alone.

I'm not self-centred at all, it's just that I'm too 'different' and possibly 'weird' to be able to hang out with the so-called 'normal' people. But I just want to know, would I be assumed to be self-centred, or even socially awkward?

Seems like more women than men out there are players now. I think that women get burned after going for the confident charming men (who are usually players) and then they take out their frustration on the majority of men, who are chumps. Hook up culture has led to this probably and I admit I am part of the problem
