I’m 23- I dont live with her.
I recently got kicked out of my dads house because he was cursing at me and I told him I will not tolerate that behavior. He drinks and insults me jokingly as well. This is the first time living with him after not seeing him my whole life. I was doing so well. Had a job set up that paid well. Was going to school. I paird for everything myself. Never asked my dad for a dime. However my dad asked me for money even though he makes $70 an hour? So things took a turn and I went back to my hometown to live with my grandma. I didn’t go to live with my mom because my mom kicked me out for not wanting to go to church at 19 years old.

So here I am. Freshly wounded because my future was wrecked. Lost my job- not in school, I hate my dad. I’m basically homeless except for my grandmas care. My mom texts me she really really wants me to go to church. I told her I’m not in the mood to go. I’m stresed and I did like re churches she goes to. She said I need to go. It’s not about me- to go and sacrifice for her.
That made me even more mad. I told her I’m an adult- respect my decision. I’m not comfortable going right now. I’m trying to get back to employment so I can get back into school ASAP.

She yelled at me telling me she’s my mom and I better respect her and she’s done with me. I didn’t even reply. I’m seeiously sick of both of my parents. They were never there emotionally for me. Only financially. Now I’m on my own struggling - trying to get away from their grasps. I still feel like a child. I suffer from anxiety and depression and anger which stems from them. I want to be independent- and not have as much contact with them. Whenever I do I feel drained and worthless. What do I do?
