Hell, they should pay for all of it, because our pain can be considered partial payment. If we are the ones who have to suffer physically then it is only fair that they be the ones to suffer financially. It would help to close the suffering gap - a step to equality.

And yes, I know that no all men want children, but not all women want children either yet we still have to bleed anyway so it is only fair that they still have to pay anyway.

My cycle mostly lasts 24 days, sometimes a day less or more, but I'd call it regular.
But I bleed 7 days, which means there's only 16 days, sometimes basically only two weeks between the last and the first day of my period.
So I know that 24 days is a normal cycle, but is it still considered normal if your period lasts that long? xD
