This isn't about physical strength, as most women are weaker than men physically due to biology.

It's more about an overall look, women have many advantages over men because they were once seen as weaker. With modern laws these weakness they once had are gone, yet they still benefit from people seeing them as weaker.

Examples:
Women once often got paid much less or didn't even have jobs.
So it was gentlemanly to pay for them as they could provide for themselves.
In Europe at least, women have fair pay and access to all jobs men do.

So we should let go of the benefit they got because they don't suffer the reason why it was given to them in the first place.

Traditionally women were rarely ever in places of power, so it was seen as normal for men to approach when it came to relationships.

But nowadays a woman can be as hierarchly powerful as a man can be. So it should be normal practice for both sides to approach.

Yet some women still think it's a man's job.

These old standards need to be removed for equity to be achieved, women aren't weaker anymore so they don't need to have these social practices in place to help them.
