Search Results: ways to approach guys at a gym

There is a guy in one of my classes (I'm in college) and I think he is attractive. I see him in class twice a week and we occasionally make eye contact. We both always go to the gym after class but have never talked to each other. Today after class on the walk to the gym (we have never walked together before), he walked past me as we walked out of class, but then turned around and asked me if I was still going to run on the treadmill (I always run on the treadmill on the days we see each other in the gym) even though it was so nice outside. We then talked the whole way to the gym. We made eye contact and laughed with each other. When talking, I told him I almost tripped on the indoor track last time and he said that he has tripped up there before. (idk if sharing an embarrassing fact is relevant at all). What does this mean? Is he interested? Help? 

With all this talk about alpha and beta males an equality in dating, this question just sort of popped up in my head while I was at the gym this morning. I know guys try to out do one another for whatever reason, bragging rights, bets, and testosterone, but what about when it comes to girls?


Usually when either gender approaches the opposite, they try to impress them with something while dating and still during the relationship. But say you find a girl and you date and maybe even marry her. Would it bother you if nothing, literally, NOTHING you do impresses her? Not a new job, not a raise, not weight loss, not weight gain, an argument you win, a fight, reading the Bible all the way through, in the bedroom... I mean, whatever it is that you do, would it bother you if she truly was just never impressed by anything you did?


Keep in mind, she's not necessarily mean or anything. She's just kinda 'whatever' about what you feel are great accomplishments or things you work hard for. And not impressed doesn't necessarily mean not supportive.
