How should I ask out my gym crush?

So there's this guy at the gym I have a huge crush on. He recently started bringing a friend who I realised went to the same school as me years ago. Last week I spoke to my crush for the first time by walking up to him and telling him he had awesome hair. but the next day I saw them, the friend from school remembered my face and we got talking, I spent the whole time talking to him and didn't really get a chance to talk to my crush, until they were leaving and I asked his name.

My questions are:
-Do you think I've made it obvious to my crush that I like him?
-Do you think I should tell my old school friend that I like his friend? That way he can bring me up in conversation and put the idea in his head, and he can make a move if he's interested
-Or should I just ask him out upfront, myself? Not sure if it's ''too much'' asking him out on a date when I was already the one who approached him first..

Appears desperate for you to be the one making the effort. It's almost like you just wanna hook up. I don't know if that's your plan, but yh.

1- Maybe, I'm not sure, if you didn't perhaps you made him suspicious of it.
2- I don't think you should involve someone else
3- It's really an option you should consider not to regret later for something you could've done. It has to be done sooner or later, maybe you could talk to him a little more first, but it's up to you and I don't think you should take much longer to actually ask him out.

1) Don't tell him you have a 'crush' .. You're not fucking 14 years old lol. Make it evident that you are sexually attracted to him.
2) No.. again, you are not 14 years old.
3) You can suggest the idea. I'd recommend that you don't ask him out. Just make yourself available. Let him ask you out.

Good way to find out how open he is towards you is hint about his girlfriend (I'm assuming you don't know if he has one) always a good way for 2 birds 1 stone.

give some time 2-3weeks get to knw him..
then u cam go for 3rd optn
make some friendship in these days get to knw him maybe he isn't that good orr can be.. get to knw him a bit first without approaching that much
