This guy who already has a girlfriend, has promise rings with and lives with her but then started texting another girl who was a previous coworker of 4 years and that following Friday randomly stopped replying which he doesn’t usually do and the following Monday says he’s having problems at home (which might be that the girlfriend got mad or jealous and said he couldn’t talk to this girl anymore) to this girl he’s texting. He never mentions this girlfriend of his to the girl he’s texting, although she already knows about her. Now there’s been 2 months of texting 5 days a week while he’s at work and talks to this girl for 9-10 hours each day.
Nothing is said that is super flirty like compliments regarding appearance but the guy is being super caring and attentive and says he enjoys this girls company and her replies make him happy and that he doesn’t want to lose her.

I’ve lost a good amount of weight but only get noticed by the guys I would not want to date. I get envious because here I am trying to make myself look better and only get noticed by ugly guys. I’m thinner and still never get approached by my kind of guy, here there are fat/ugly women that meet their dream man. What’s wrong with me? I don’t think I’m too picky but am selective to a normal degree. Am I not having results because I’m using the dating apps? I get complimented on my appearance but have yet to meet a good guy. I do not message the guys first, I get messages from men but it doesn’t work out either way. Am I the problem or is it because I don’t approach the guys first?

honestly I see so many men say they hate women who wear makeup, dress up, or get their nails done etc, Only like natural beauties, I get liking natural girls I get it wanting a natural beauty, but it’s strange to me why so many guys would hate a woman who puts effort into her appearance rather than just wakes up gets out of bed then chucks anything on with zero effort, why do you think so many men say this? I’m not talking about “high maintenance” I’m talking just a woman who takes care of herself and makes a effort what is unattractive about making a effort? Like I notice men don’t seem to have a problem about women going to the gym or taking care of her body or weight but I don’t see why a woman dressing up or making herself look nice is a bad thing because it shows they care about themselves in the same way if they work out or put effort into their bodies, surely it’s a good thing. opinions? (I know this isn't all men by the way, it’s why I put “some”)
