There’s this guy I like. We’re upperclassmen in high school, so do keep that setting in mind. I am his friend. We hang out everyday, I talk to him everyday, we hang out in the same group, we’re CLOSE FRIENDS, which is the reason why this is so difficult. Please do hear me out. I don’t have the courage to ask him out yet but that’s for one (maybe more than one but mostly one) huge reason. If I ask him out, and it turns out he doesn’t like me, I won’t be crushed just because he doesn’t like me back. The awkwardness of the situation will ruin our friendship and I really don’t want that. If I can date him, great, I don’t care about what happens, but he’s a fantastic friend and I don’t want to fuck that up if he doesn’t like me. I’m going to just write out things I’ve noticed and I won’t exaggerate anything bc I want a straightforward correct answer. 1 thing he does a lot is do or say certain things loudly to try to get my attention and he looks at me when he’s doing them all the time so I know he’s trying to see my reaction. With his jokes he will also tend to look at me after telling them. He remembers the tiniest details about me that I myself forget and is always wanting access to my spam account where I, yknow, spam. He does stare at me directly in my eyes when he’s talking to me. Sometimes even when he isn’t talking to me. He takes pictures of me sometimes when I’m just like doing homework or whatever. Sometimes he does mirror my actions. Sometimes he brushes his hand against mine. He watches my snap stories first and likes my Instagram pictures, but that isn’t really a sign. I have dated him on and off for months. My birthday was the 6th and I just reminded him on the 4th about it. I was waiting for a happy birthday from him which I never got.
I texted him yesterday he didn’t tell me anything and he said he was sorry he forgot about it and that he is terrible at remembering birthdays.
I know how forgetful he is sometimes but it also makes me feel he really doesn’t care about me to forget so easily. He also wouldn’t have remembered if I didn’t say anything about it.

I don't like my past... because it seems a lot worse than it actually was. STILL--I wouldn't change it. Sometimes all the memories come back and I just want to forget it. Who I was like 4 years ago isn't who I am now. I disgust myself... but then I realize why I date bad boys--because I'll NEVER be as "bad" as them... or slept with even close to the same amount of people as them. I need to feel innocent again. :'( <3 I wonder if leaving this house would help--but it's hard when all the bad shit happened in schools or at people's houses.

I've been really big on spirituality lately. As a Hellenistic Wiccan... I am trying to connect with the Mother Earth Goddess and Aphrodite. Yoga also helps as well as meditation. <3

So, I’ve basically used one since I was 17. I had braces for years and used waterpicks before that but then I have a permanent retainer behind my top front teeth which makes it hard leur to floss those three spaces.

I keep a water pick in the cabinet if I need it but floss and my Sonicare or whatever type of electronic brush works.

Most my friends have them but I’ve dated people who don’t and think that it is weird. They like it, but don’t understand why someone would spend $200 on a toothbrush and then the cost to replace the heads.

Because my teeth are completely clean only second to a dental visit, that’s why. No film or stuck food.

I do use a regular toothbrush as an emergency backup on travel. If I’m only gone for a day sometimes I don’t want to bring my brush if I think I might forget it or whatever. I also sometimes brush my teeth with a regular toothbrush after working out. But it almost seems pointless. Floss and wash is better.
