Background:

Two guys were best friends. Hang out all the time, called each other best friend, etc.

One guy had been single for a year following a breakup with a L-T girlfriend (together 3.5 years). She was hot (a good eight) and a passionate, fiery type. He was known to be a lothario following the breakup. Recently, she came back onto the scene after a year away, wanted to reignite the relationship but he just wanted sex and they went their separate ways. They still have feelings for each other but knew a relationship was not going to work.

The other guy last had a girlfriend a few years ago and was still at uni but after graduating, he started getting more into girls and getting more popular.

Jealousy developed between them and they started seeing less of each other until their friendship became acrimonious with both of them taking verbal swipes at each other. They now don't speak.

Today:

The second guy has become good friends with his ex-best friend's girlfriend (the hot eight) and the two are often seen hanging out.

How would you feel about this? Betrayed by your friend? Betrayed by your ex-girl?

This question just came to me when I replied to an answer to one of my posts, but I won't mention her name without her permission as we are not close GAG friends yet.

She was concerned that her friend betrayed her by telling her crush that she liked him without her permission, which is definitely wrong. But I shared with her that 2 times when shy girlfriends of mine asked me to do just that, it made the boys want to flirt with them, which was just what they wanted to happen, so it turned out great!

I was getting a reputation as being a cupid of sorts... lol

I was bullied as a child and even in my early twenties by women in the work place. By family members too. All my life I feel like I’ve been reserved (my personality) and people instigated/ were “offended” and starting drama with me for petty reasons. I didn’t say hi or smile when they walked by and they’d feel a certain way. I don’t know if this is how people generally act. I don’t feel like this is common behavior. As a result, I don’t really put myself out there to make friends. When it comes to dating, I don’t actively date because guys haven’t really shown interest in the past or notice me like they approach other girls. I don’t know if something is wrong with me or the people I’ve previously been surrounded by.
