I don't know... the legs, especially the thighs specifically are my personal favorite body part, and have been since I was a kid, and I grew up in Oregon, a much colder place where people pretty much wore long pants all the times, and bare thighs were only a sign of extreme intimacy between two lovers just walking around in their underwear at home or getting ready to have sex.

But a few years back, I moved to Florida, and... I was blown away by how much skin people around here show. The thighs specifically, since that's the area I'm most attracted to.

It also doesn't help that I'm bi, with a very high sex drive... I used to think "showing legs" was only a feminine thing, but more recently, men have been showing a lot of leg too.

And here in Florida, I don't really see many people wearing long pants most of the year. Men wear shorts, significantly above the knee, and women wear skirts/dresses, either significantly above the knee, or long but with a slit so big most of their legs are exposed anyway.

And whenever I see this... I just turn real red, and try with all my might to not look down. I don't like to sexualize people who are just trying to go about their daily lives.

I'll give a few example of which each has to deal with being an average man or woman. This excludes the extremes on both side, neither Jaw dropping or hideous just right down the middle.

Woman:

1. They are at a high risk of being sexually assaulted due to their naturally smaller size.
2. They are pressured to look young.
3. They are pressured about their weight.
4. They are pressured into having the same sex drive as men even if they have naturally low one.
5. They get a ton of unwanted attention regardless of appearance.

Men:

1. If they aren't assertive and take a chance they may never find a significant other, all while being too assertive and masculine is considered toxic.
2. They always are seen as having ulterior motive even when they do not.
3. If They're average looking over half the woman wouldn't even consider them as a choice.
4. They will be judged for the things you like.
5. They get almost no attention regardless of appearance, and rarely even receives a compliment.
