This chap I know his marriage was on the rocks a year or so ago. Not why we started associating; he knows my cousin so thought nothing of associating. Early on I thought maybe he had developed some sexual interest (a comment) and as I know my looks/personality does attract guys (despite treating them as I do everyone else). That and a friend comment he really, really likes you in a passing comment. Anyway I rather badly insulted him & the leeway he's giving me as he cools off - I apologised & he's said done/over - makes me wonder if it wasn't just sexual interest but something else, deeper even. It seems almost silly given the short time frame but I doubt he'd give many others the same leeway.

I think before marriage and while i was looking for a a boyfriend... Yes, sometimes.

I dont plan to have any sex ouside marriage. Maybe he is strining me along cause thinks he can getthat from me. I haven't told him yet cause i dont assume people are ready to give and ask others to give their bodies and souls to anyone outside marriage. Its disgusting.
Why hasn't my friend asked for my number? If he's just trying to use me without making me his girlfriend/wife, HOW do i prevent this?

he's a guy friend at work. I think he's sexually attracted to me cause he's been nervous around me and i can see lust in his eyes.

Anyway, he likes talking to me for some reason. He asks when he will see me at work next. Why not just ask for my number or take me on a date

He went from being heads over heels for me and addicted (his words), discussing meeting my family and marriage, to breaking up suddenly. But he didn't ditch me/ghost afterwards and kept talking almost daily as he said he wanted us to stay friends and keep me close (we still talk 9 months after the break up although we had a phase where we didn't speak) but he keeps on saying we need to move on.

In his break up message he said that he was "Scared" , he said that he liked me and could still like me, but that he felt that there were too many obstacles (I assume he means the distance, and the fact that we are not ready for marriage because we're both students). That he didn't want to drag me for years without the certainty of marriage since he still needs 4 years or so before being able to get married. That he is scared my parents want me to marry someone from my country, and he is scared because so many men wanted me.

Some of the mistakes I've done as a woman when I think about the relationship retroactively:

- Once mentioned to him that my mom prefers me marrying someone from my country.
- Talked about other guys to make him jealous and get his attention (I'm immature i know). Turns out it made him insecure, i think.
- Told him about a guy who wanted to propose to me.

PS:
- We're both 24
- Both (religious) virgins waiting for marriage
- His religiosity often made him guilty over being overly sexually attracted to me
- It was an online relationship , we both live in Europe but in different countries.
- None of us has had a previous relationship.
- None of us dated or looked to date after the break up.

I don't want to give him up because I feel like we're soulmates (although I don't believe in the concept).

Obviously I don’t mean you think of marrying anyone who is attractive. I don’t have much space in the title lol

I know people are happy to date people that they would not Consider marrying.

So I’m Interested to know for you, if every other box checks.. How much of an Impact does he or she looking five or so years older than their natural age, when it comes to questioning marriage down the Road...

Assume they are very health conscious and fake good care of themselves.
