My boyfriend and I are in a kind of open relationship. We are dating each other, I live in his home, I go to family events, we are extremely close. We have an adventures sex life and I kinda like sharing. Before the pandemic the idea was to experiment this with other girls we meet at bars or tinder and such. Unfortunately, the pandemic kind of ruined that. Eventually it came up that he wanted to sleep with his ex-girlfriend we will call her... Patricia. I was okay with just sex- I’m confident in my relationship, and myself to put aside that because I was actually okay with it. Well lately Patricia and him aren’t just having sex anymore. They go out to dinner, they drive around and “talk”, they hangout. Yes he says he tells me before they do anything but he works for himself which means he has spare time quite often. I don’t want to seem like the insecure, jealous girlfriend. I don’t want to be clinging on to him or seem needy. I want to be confident in myself and my relationship. Previously when I learned about this I made a comment like “seems more than just sex.” His response was “yeah, we are friend.. I can have friends right?”.

Is this wrong of me to be feeling like no you can’t. Like I feel like he has more freedom then anyone else but wants to “hang out and be friends with her”. I am jealous and I am scared. Should I mention this to him? Is it wrong of me to not want him to be friends with her? How/what should I say?

Why i feel like that:
1. He is a kind of person who leaves everything behind for his games
Everything as in his studies, family and me.
2. Even in his friends circle he is a kind of person who doesn't care what's happening around him and is lost in his own world.
3. He is 22 and still doesn't like thinking about his future. According to him thinking about it is stressful so he avoids it.
4. If i try to talk about feeling n emotions he gets all awkward since he doesn't understand them much n chamhes the topics to games or some youtube vid he saw.. ( this make me not sharing things with him when i am on some emotional break out.. so all i do is give him a small summary of what i went through after months)
