TL;DR- Some people may say it looks "gay" or "feminine", but I never agreed. If someone has nice legs, male or female, they should be allowed to show them off. I'm bi and find both male and female legs sexy af.

I just always found it a bit silly how women were expected to show a lot of leg in mini dresses, mini skirts, or shorts; yet men were expected to have on long baggy shorts that go past the knee.

I personally always found nice legs attractive, on both men and women. If someone has nice legs, the shorter, the more skin you can see, the better. I wanna see dem legs~

Alright, that sounds a bit pervy, lol. But point is, I don't think showing off legs should be looked as "gay" or "exclusively feminine."

I'm bi and I'm attracted to male and female legs pretty much equally. I see plenty of women showing their legs, but it hasn't really been a thing for guys for a while. I see some shorter men's shorts, which is good, but it's not super mainstream yet.

You know how men typically avoid really short shorts to avoid being seen as "gay?" And you know how being gay is usually associated with feminine traits? And how being a "tomboy" is associated with masculine traits? So do tomboys avoid thigh length shorts to avoid seeming overly feminine?

I don't know... the legs, especially the thighs specifically are my personal favorite body part, and have been since I was a kid, and I grew up in Oregon, a much colder place where people pretty much wore long pants all the times, and bare thighs were only a sign of extreme intimacy between two lovers just walking around in their underwear at home or getting ready to have sex.

But a few years back, I moved to Florida, and... I was blown away by how much skin people around here show. The thighs specifically, since that's the area I'm most attracted to.

It also doesn't help that I'm bi, with a very high sex drive... I used to think "showing legs" was only a feminine thing, but more recently, men have been showing a lot of leg too.

And here in Florida, I don't really see many people wearing long pants most of the year. Men wear shorts, significantly above the knee, and women wear skirts/dresses, either significantly above the knee, or long but with a slit so big most of their legs are exposed anyway.

And whenever I see this... I just turn real red, and try with all my might to not look down. I don't like to sexualize people who are just trying to go about their daily lives.

So I have been friends with this guy for quite a bit. But I met him in the fall... and then came winter. And though Florida is usually hot, fall and winter aren't that hot as long as you're not doing much physical activity outside.

I already quite liked this guy. He was kind, sensitive, not afraid to be himself, funny, excellent at chorus and theater class, etc. One of my closest male friends overall. He was also quite attractive. Blonde, fair skinned, and slightly more feminine looking than most guys. He actually looks a bit "pretty". But still looks like a guy overall. A nice balance.

But thing is, I'm bisexual, and the legs are my favorite body part, on both men and women. And this guy... once spring came along, he would now wear nothing but shorts. And not long ones either, but a hand above the knee to mid-thigh, depending on how hot the day overall was.

And I couldn't help but want to glance at his legs... they were pale as hell, but pale looks good on him. He had very minimal leg hair, it was almost like he shaved, but if you looked closely, you cold see copious very small light hairs. His legs were in excellent shape. Not super burly or thick, but you can tell he takes care of himself and works out often. They looked a bit feminine, but I like feminine guys.

Daily, I couldn't help but throw in a quick glance every time we started up a conversation. Till one day, he eventually caught on, smiled sweetly, and said. "I see you've started taken notice of my legs ever since I began wearing shorts, hm? Well good, cuz I jog and walk around a heck of a lot, and am quite proud of my work. Plus, my legs are already super smooth without needing to shave them." And I just turned real red, but we both laughed it off.

I don't know if it's just me, but ever since that incident... he's been nicer than usual... almost like he's into me.

However, though I'm attracted to feminine men, I'm attracted to actual women MUCH more... but I'm kind of into him, too...

I don't know about you, but ever since I was a kid, I've always LOVED women in dresses.

There's not really much to say about them, but they basically are the epitome of femininity, they look sort of fancy, and they just overall look nice. I also like how they can be both formal and casual.

Short or long, whatever color they may be, whatever the body type of the wearer... they just look fantastic.

Any average looking woman can easily go up to like an 8, 9, or 10 by just putting on a nice dress and styling her hair a little, and maybe a little bit of light natural makeup if necessary.

If you don't know what I mean, it's comparable to men in suits.

Suits have an overall professional and distinguished look, and a nice tailored suit can make any average guy look way better.

I know women can't wear dresses all the time, and that I can't police what women wear, but in terms of aesthetics, I'd take dresses over jeans, trousers, shorts, or skirts any day.

They all look as sophisticated and as manly as fuck. Much better than just a t-shirt and jeans, or a tank top and shorts. Better than casual button-downs too.

Dresses are basically like that, but the feminine version. Though some dresses can be more casual looking, while suits are almost always fancy... even casual dresses look fancier than pants, shorts, or skirts, though.
