Search Results: bad boys go for the good girls

How many times do you come across a post and it's some girl explaining why nice guys are bad, bad boys are good, blah, blah, blah and you'll see the male equivalent bashing some arch typal traditional man as a toxic male epitome and that the good male puts ladies first blah blah blah. It's everywhere. It's as prevelant as the sloganeering, you know when some clueless jerk picks up some culty mantra cliche off a pop culture forum "men suicide rates blah blah blah" completely disingenuous, just a layer to throw over some BS feelings. The two are just two sides of the same coin really. It's the person trying to artificially construct a false pretense to justify themselves. Notice the bottom line usually says it all people. "Nice guys, you aren't man enough!" = "You are not even" = "I want more" It's a justification and it's achieved by rationalization. The "not man enough" bit is nothing more than an illusion to trick your mind into missing whats actually being said, hypergamy. You'll see this all the time, when people start to crumble when they are trying to create false reasoning, you'll see logic go out the window, giant leaps in thought and articulation, you'll be looking at a picture that looks like it was shot by a tommy gun.

Not saying you should hate anybody. Its a natural mechanism to the human. No one likes it but its there to protect people from their own innate realizations. They don't want to be hypergamous, they just really feel tempted by it. So much that they say "nice guys blah blah blah" its obviously stupid. Women in their best state of mind dont want "a bad boy" a bad boy is somebody who is either deeply traumatized or is a sociopath. They are everything a man isn't.

You think so?

I'm really unsure about this. Here's a few examples about why:

1. I just broke up with my ex 3 days ago and I feel like my life is in shambles. She was a really good girl, had all the qualities I was looking for, but she said she doesn't think she deserves me. To "recover", I went out to the club with a couple of guy friends from work and ran into the girl I liked before I met my ex. I was drunk and couldn't stop thinking about her. The girl I used to like turned out to be almost everything I don't want in a girl. But while I was drunk and even hours after I sobered up, I caught feelings for her again. I almost drunk texted her several times. Do I really like this girl or is this me being drunk messing up my judgement?

2. Back in college I liked this really popular girl. I slid in her Instagram DMs but she called me an asshole and said I was lucky to get a reply. Two days later she's back in my DMs sending me thank you messages with a bunch of crying face emojis. I asked her what she's thanking me for. She said "Sorry. I was drunk." Ever since then, she's been liking most of my Instagram posts. Especially the ones I post with my family. Does she really like me or is just embarrassed she messaged me drunk?

3. One of my co-workers is constantly sharing stories of bad run ins with guys. I think she likes the bad boys. One time when she was drunk she took a fake Uber from one bar to the next and gave the driver her number. He catcalled her and she got in the car. She called him a good Samaritan. But another time she met a guy at the DMV and he left a note on her car saying call me, but she thought he was creepy and a pedophile. No matter whether she's drunk or sober, she's always bragging about the bad boys.

So what do you think? Does being drunk enhances how we truly feel or make us stupid?
