I'm 20 never kissed or had a legit girlfriend, I've pursued girls who shit me down, been pursued by girls I shot down etc but I'm very social and am not some basement dweller, I skydive, jog, work and go to college so I'm taking steps for the future. I feel like it's 3 big things for me making me this way for so long, 1-I came from a relatively small town, most girls that were attractive had someone and there weren't many options, 2-I admit I have high standards on looks, I am not a huge fan of the numbers system but it helps give clarity, I wouldn't date below what I seen as a 7 on the looks scale. Call me shallow it's human and I'm not a player I only want one in the end. And 3-I have TE, basically my body was pushed close enough to shock from a time of illness that it cut supplies to non essential function, hair follicles one of them, it started a premature baldibg cycle that can't be reversed so I shave what's left Cue Ball bald now, luckily for a smaller white guy I actually don't look half bad bald, still a lot of girls probably couldn't get past no hair.

anyway the question is all this combined do you think this makes getting a girl a very hard goal for me? Or is it just bad circumstance at the moment more? Like I said most everyone likes me and my name is well known it's not in how I act that is causing it. But do you think that, the inexperience/higher standards/lack of hair is going to make me undateable or have a much harder time than most, or am I just worrying too much about it?

First, this is RationalMale. I posted anonymously so all the people I've blocked have a chance to answer as well. I ask this question because of how my week's been.

So as some of you know, I'm working security. I picked up a part time summer thing going around a pretty great neighbhorhood and stopping trespassing at their pools and basketball courts. Basically a "job" that's half work and half chatting up hot lifeguards in bikinis. (Not much point in the residents paying out the nose for a handful of rec centers if they're filled with non-residents.)

So I'm at one pool, I walk up to the basketball court. There's like, 9 people there? Yes, blacks, mostly, and I'm white. I give the 30th canned greeting line of the day and ask to if they have their passes with them. (I only accepted the job because the owner basically promised he'd promote me very quickly to management, since it's a small outfit and I'm experienced.) One person has their pass, for 11 people. I start explaining the rules, that that one pass doesn't work for a group like that, and this ghetto black girl immediatly starts going, "This is harassment. It's because the color of my skin, isn't it?"

She calls her dad, who shows up with another pass, and goes, "I'm a resident, I pay for the right to play here, and I'd appreciate if you don't fuck with my family! Go bother those crackers down there at the pool!"

Then I go down to the pool to call the manager and verify that I need to call the cops and remove the hostile group (two people with membership doesn't work for 12 people, as they know and I explained) and the lifeguards, two muscular white guys who are probably on the high school wrestling team come over, "Hey man, they giving you shit? We can call the cops and have their asses thrown out. Want me to?"

And I realized... damn. This is how is ends up, isn't it? The team lines are drawn, like that. I avoid living in the city, but this kind of thing travels out to me. (for the record, later that day I also kicked another trespassing group of basketball players who were mostly white.)

What do you think? Are racial tensions getting worse? Are we going to have more racial based violence?
