We are both grown ups in our late 30's. She was my daughter's teacher last year and I think she is gorgeous, but we are just acquaintances. by the way I know she has a boyfriend. I emailed her at the beginning of the year asking her to join me in a 10K in the spring. She responded after a couple of days:
Hey there! I promise I did not forget about you :) I have been thinking about it! A 10k was something I never thought I could do. I am currently training (ha) .. really trying to lose weight, tone up and get in better shape as we speak. I am following the t25 workout program which is extremely tough. I am sooo out of shape. I hear you about being in denial…I thought I was in better shape than I really am. I would be happy to help motivate you. I can say that I would be willing to try a 10k but can’t commit.. lol I am just not sure I have the endurance but I can say that at this time It could be a consideration. Let me get back into using my treadmill and continue this program and see how I feel in like a month. We will continue to talk.
ME: Oh my God, look at you doing the T25, because you are oh sooo overweight and out of shape. You are perfectly fine! I'm beginning to think that you were not actually thinking about it, you just wanted to be a few days of training ahead of me. When Izzy told me what you said I was like: "Now I have to apologize to her, I didn't mean to scare her with the word 10k". You are underestimating yourself, of course you are capable of finishing a 10k, I've seen you run! XD. It's all in your head, if you are mentally strong enough to deal with 20 something 3rd graders all day... We can even go for a couple of drinks after the 10k to recoup, there is an extra incentive haha. In all seriousness, if you really are doing the T25 I'm absolutely sure you will kick my butt during Fun in the Sun this year. I better not show up :P
HER: Lol…That is a great way to start off a Friday . You had me laughing. The mental part is my biggest challenge :)

Your walking along when everything suddenly goes black, you wake up daysed and confused to find out your fenced in with a bunch of other people scared and screaming. You look all around and find out their is no way. Sitting their scared and confused, you periodically hear silence, as you look around to the cause of the silence, you witness someone being taken away be strange creatures/aliens. Hours pass by with no clue whats going on or happening when silence occurs again, this time as things start to quiet you hear someone screaming in the distance. Yet a gain you look around to the cause of the quietness once again only to see another person being taken by the strange creatures. Finally night falls, with no sign of the strange creatures, so you deiced to get some rest. Just as the sun starts to rise, half a sleep you feel tugging on your shoulder, you quickly waken looking around to see whats happening, you noticed your the creatures next victim. Scared, you start kicking and screaming frantically as your being taken away by the strangers.
