Get your power back on!

It’s never fun to sit in the dark day in and day out not being able to see what’s in the room with you. Waiting till the sun comes up in order to have some clarity if only for a few hours. It doesn’t have to be that way. Just get your power turned back on!

We sit in the dark on a regular basis when it comes to our love lives, friends, and even some family members. We have to pay attention and get our power turned back on so we are no longer sitting in the dark.

In relationships people are more interested in playing games. These games are running our society. Women and men are in the dark about whether or not the person they are interested in feels the same and are committed, with friends we are not sure how open we can be, and with so many opportunistic people we question some of our family member’s true intentions. We are all in the dark about something, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

The first thing we have to do is know where your power switch is. Your power switch is your standards. Know what you will and will not accept from people first and foremost. Make it clear to them that you operate by high standards and if they can’t accept those standards then move on. Standards alone are a never ending source of power.

Second, be honesty with yourself and with others. They will respect you for it and most will return the same courtesy.

Third, have a forgiving heart. Not a forgetting heart, but forgiving heart. Learn to forgive and you will not lose power. Letting someone take your power is cheating yourself out of happiness and blessings daily. Finally, love! Love is like a rechargeable battery; no matter how much you give and no matter how much someone takes it can be replenished. Don’t be afraid to love, it is a necessity that we can not survive without.

If more people would love, I believe we would live longer happier lives. So turn your power back on and take charge of your life, you will be happier and able to see your blessings as they enter your life.
