So in lots of literary works and pop media with characters you have what are called 'character arcs' the transformation or inner journey of a character over the course of a story.

So applying this in real life you can have periods or phases of your life where you are developing and developing until you reach a climax or a point of revelation. And in the end you learn something about yourself you didn't know or understand before.

So for example one arc i was on was the Party goer arc. I threw and went to tons of parties threw out my early 20's. it was a period of trying to fit in, be cool, and getting as drunk AF almost all the time lol. well eventually that all ended and in the end what i learned was that i actually much prefer playing my video games more than i do partying. and i also like smaller get-togethers than huge parties now a days.

So yeah stuff like this. you enter a new phase, figure your way through the new phase and at the end of this phase learn something new about yourself

So me and this girl met in the beginning of the year, we work together and things have been pretty cool. Recently things have warmed up between us and have been getting flirtatious, even other coworkers have caught on. I even overheard her talking to another female coworker about me (I’m pretty muscular). She’ll always ask me if I’m coming in the next day or when is she going to see me next.
One particular time I went to sit and talk with her after my shift (we’ve been doing that recently) and I heard her on video chat with someone else talking about maybe seeing them on the weekend. But then quickly dismissed them and hung up when I said yeah I think I’m gonna head out.
She said “When’s the next time I’ll see you?”
I just said hmm probably next week, I’ll catch you later and left.
This is what made me start to question things.
The next week I came in and I was intentionally being distant. One day, me, her and a few coworkers were sitting together so I brought up the idea of relationships. Just to investigate. During the conversation she claimed that she was single.
So I thought maybe I’ve just been overthinking things from the week prior.
Later I spoke with her alone and I told her that I feel me and her have a good connection and maybe we should go out sometime.
She told me that she wanted to be honest with me and that she actually had been dating someone for the past two months. She said she wants to be fair and give him a chance. But she also mentioned that it’s been hard to find someone who wants to commit.
I had no problem with it and I said it’s cool and I wouldn’t mind keeping things where they are at.
But now that a few weeks passed after that I’ve been friendly but also distant. Yet she’s been even more flirtatious with me, compliments about how I look, how I smell, including physical touching like rubbing my back or my leg. Getting even more personal with the conversation. Getting lunch together at work?
Some of this has me confused on her intentions.

My SO and I are having problems. We are not sleeping together but we are co-habitating at her place. She cries and sobs (quietly) whenever I say I can leave. Yesterday she wanted me to leave. As soon as I was ready she changed her mind and wants me to stay for a month or more. Essentially until the lockdown has ended.

This morning we have a bit of a breakthrough and we are talking normally instead of looking distant and cool all the time.

She leaves the door open when she is getting dressed. I see her topless she stops dressing and looks at me for a minute. She lets me look. She changes later with her door open again. No look this time just casual like before we had our problem.

Then she starts getting dressed to go out. She plays cards all afternoon. She usually dresses a bit sleazy for that which is one of our issues. She likes to give the boys a downblouse show during the game. Occasionally she has meetings with clients she dresses smartly for those.

But this time she wears a sheer white top with a black bra and long black pants. Takes a little longer to put on her makeup. Takes some time selecting a perfume rather than the usual one.
I ask her if she's going on a date. She says she's meeting a client and hopes to make a sale.

She is beingI have never seen her take such care in choosing a perfume before or wear a sheer top to a client meeting. She sells custom made women's clothing.

Is she lying or not?

And if she is then what's with the boob show?
