I've known this guy for 4 years now (since my freshman year, we are seniors now) and we became friends last year and have gotten closer since. I started liking him at the end of last school year. He has had a couple of bad relationships and broke up with his ex last winter. By June last year I decided to text him on ig and we would text here and there. He was sending me major mixed signals so I decided to tell him I like him. He told me that he didn't like anyone at that point and I made sure to let him know that I wanted to be friends

Over summer we texted occasionally, having normal conversation. Then school started back up and ever since he has been treating me different. He has always teased me lots but now it is more so. He also started talking to me more and singling me out in groups (making eye contact and convercing with mainly me). I think he started to catch feelings

We continued to talk and text and at one point he called me randomly, saying he was driving so he could text, we ended up staying on the phone for 2 hours just talking. The next week he called, that time we ended up in the phone for 4 hours and he fell asleep on the call. While we were on the phone I told him about a movie I wanted to see and he asked who I was going to go with, because I told him I don't like going to the movies alone, I said I wasn't sure. He then offered to go with me so a week later I invited him. We made a plan and he even offered to pick me up and drive together. We went had a good time

Ever since he's been super hot and cold with me. He will engage in conversation with me a lot, then next thing I know he's ignoring me. Recently he replied to my story on ig of a picture of me and my friend. He said "you look very nice". Later that week I texted him and he had just lost a wrestling tournament and got injured and was texting super dry. I called him out on it and all he said was "I'm gonna go ahead and ghost" then he did. So major mixed signals. I don't know if he likes me

Pretty darn sure, we met from fb dating. I tried to play it cool so we only shared our discord UNs, he gave his # but I hid mine when we spoke. I just found out his full name, he showed his drivers license when he had long hair & I got to see his whole name. When I got home & checked, there’s pics of he & this girl from soonest posing together in July all snuggly. Now, there’s pics from earlier this month with he, the girl & a bunch of other people posing in front of a Christmas tree. And they did the same thing last yr, part of the same friend group? I checked her IG & his, they don’t follow each other & don’t have their relationship status on fb. Again, it’s just the lovey dovey pics from April-July & the group Christmas pic from this month & last yr. They’re friends on fb & not on IG.. neither have pics of each other on IG. I honestly wasn’t really leaning towards meeting him a 2nd time, we had a quick dinner & he hugged me but didn’t mention meeting a 2nd time yet. I deleted my fb dating profile but have him on discord (last platform we spoke on), if he reaches out again I’m going to ask.

I'm hoping to get some outside perspective on a situation with a guy I used to work with, as I feel I might be overthinking things. There's been a spark between us, but I'm unsure if it's mutual. Here are some details:

1. **Post-Work Interactions**: We often spent time together after everyone else had left, and he would walk me home, lingering a bit.

2. **Attention to Details**: He remembered small details about me, but I wonder if this is just part of his intelligent and observant personality.

3. **Eye Contact and Body Language**: He often gave prolonged eye contact, making me feel drawn in. He also mirrored my posture at the table.

4. **Subtle Physical Contact**: When sitting close, our knees would touch, and he wouldn’t move away. His body would be angled towards me, though he never sat extremely close.

5. **Mixed Messages**: He mentioned going on dates with others, walks at my pace, and has never inquired about my dating life. His messages are usually short, and we mostly meet in group settings.

6. **Personal Insecurities**: I’ve often felt like the 'ugly duckling' or second choice, so I’m unsure if I’m misinterpreting his friendliness as interest.

7. **Shared Interests**: We have a lot in common, and I've tried initiating light physical touches, which he responds to with laughter, but he doesn’t initiate similar actions.’

Sorry if this is confusing, but I (24f) and my guy friend, let’s call him Jake (23m) have been friends a few years, and our relationship has always been complicated. He can be a real jerk to our friend group (he tends to blame this on being autistic), but he’s always let his wall down around me. I first thought he liked me when he started going out of his way for me; like offering to pick me up from work since I don’t drive, or going to workout classes with me, for example. And then again, when we were watching one of our shows, and I curled up under a blanket on the opposite side of the couch and he asked to share, and put his arm around me. Although, he moved after 5 mins.

But what has me believing this is what happened at our group friendsgiving on Friday. First of all, during dinner he tried to take my drink, and then I told him to ask me for a sip, which he did. Then we were discussing his dating life as a group, and then he said something like “I wouldn’t sleep with (insert my name), but I wouldn’t mind second base” and winked at me. Then, we were all talking on the couch, and I was tired, so I told him to move so I could elevate my feet. He told me to just put them on him, then he proceeded to wrestle me off him. He also took my drink out of my hand to drink from it, and then, while I was talking, hugged me.

Later, all the friends were on my balcony, and when we started to go inside I noticed Jake hanging back, so I asked if he was okay, and he said he held himself to too high of a standard, and he said he felt bad pushing me away because he liked talking to me and that it was easy to talk to me. There was a weird tension between us, and I mentioned I hadn’t seen him in a while so I missed him. He said something snarky, but then admitted to missing me too.

All of our friends thought there was something up. He’s also going to a football game with me alone that he originally declined because no one else could go. I feel like he likes me, but I don’t know.

The same girl in my HS hates me for the longest. We're now HS seniors.

Ever since 7th grade, she would start with her rude remarks, spread false rumors, ridicule me in the class and her group of friends would isolate me. It got to the point, she literally wanted to fight me. I only replied back with a punch once. We were threatened with a suspension, she starts crying, fakes an apology and supposedly that was it. Nope, she proceeded to faking a friendship just to avoid trouble, along with giving me a fake number and fake address.

By the following year, she would continue with the rude comments or scream ''OMG or EWWW'' in disgust. I had enough and just recently told her ''OMG nothing, you got a problem with me again, we can fix this right now and this time I don't give a damn if I we get suspended. In fact I'm looking forward for it. And don't be crying crocodile tears.'' She said nothing but walked away.

Honestly, can our gender be worse bullies than guys? If this was between guys, they fight, get it solved and that's it. Either they become friends or ignored each other but at least have some level of respect. They go on into faking friendships nor apologies. She kept going on with that hate for 5 years and we're nearly adults by now.
