Is it normal for guys to treat their friends wife like this?

Anonymous

Last year I met my husbands marine friend. Our first meeting, his friend was trying to get me drunk the whole time, being touchy with me, and at one point flashed me, my husband saw it too. I’m not sure why this was overlooked but it was and so we ended up hanging out with him in a group setting a couple times after that, one time was at a beach.

My husband and I didn’t know we were supposed to wear swim stuff, and that same friend came up to me, and told me he was sad I wasn’t wearing my swimsuit, and that next time I should. For about an hour after that my husband was playing volleyball with the group of guys there and that friend stayed behind to just talk to me.

Fast forward to now, my husband was on deployment with this friend and they got really close, but his friend had to go home early. The friend told my husband several times to tell me to hit him up if I need help. Recently, he got my number and has told me a couple times to call him if I need anything. (I may need his help in a couple weeks, but I’m going to make sure that my other friends are there when he comes.)

He is a fun guy, maybe everything he has done has been a joke so I’d hate to misjudge him… but at the same time is this normal for guys to do?

I’ve been feeling pretty uncomfortable around him but a part of me is wondering if I’m just over exaggerating… my husband seems fine at the thought of his friend hanging out with me alone- but for some reason I get a strange feeling around this guy.
