My parents are traditional and I’m at that age where they’re pushing me to find a girl and get married.

I’ve always wanted to get married but Lately I have my doubts. I’ve been on a couple dates with some beautiful women and that’s all they had, nice faces. My relatives/friends even warned me that there are some women that will want to be with you for all the amazing luxuries I have. My inheritance will go in a trust but I myself am ultra ambitious and determined to excel in my career and family businesses. Things like sharing my current assets I’ve worked hard for with someone else gives me a lot of anxiety. Prenuptial agreements don’t necessarily offer much security.

I feel like I have it all as a man. Yet it’s so hard to find the right girl, I’m already giving up. Is there any point? Should I just let it happen naturally? I’m a very ambitious guy, I want to succeed on my own/by myself. I’ve also seen men just mellow out when they get married.

I know I definitely want kids and I definitely don’t want to become lonely. It’s just that, I really hate the vibes I get off the majority of women I meet. The girls that tend to be really nice are just randomly walking about and I have a hard time finding them.

We all worry about whether we are being led on by someone or being used. With the ambitions/visions I have in life I can’t afford to have someone messing about with me.

Growing up my parents were always busy so I had to be far more responsible than other guys. I had to cook , clean house and cloths since a younger age. Somehow I was also curious of doing stuffs by my own so I learnt sewing , decorating also. Although those aren't my profession as I am in academia. Somehow I have seen a lot of women view those as not manly or gayish. I know many girls will say different here but I am saying this as by my personal experience from dates. They said they wanted some manly man. Sometimes I try not to think about it but sometimes it really bothers me cause now a days dating bad boys is on trend. So wherether I should mention those or not on a date.
Some girls said in the past that I was more like motherly. Is that an insult?
