I understand that the current teens and young 20-somethings do things differently, so that's why I ask. If you have a first date to arrange and you know that your prospective partner will agree to whatever you suggest, what is your ideal first date? And why do you choose that over the other alternatives?

My generation usually opts for the traditional dinner date at a fairly nice restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurant is quiet so we can have some conversation and hear each other, there are no concerns about a bar fight erupting, and we can both verify that the other one does not chew with their mouth open. Once we get an opportunity to make sure that they don't run in the house with scissors, we're good to go! :) :) :)

So what's your ideal first date?

The short guy question. How short is too short for an ideal guy, to you? Keep in mind, this is not some "eh, he'll do" type of bum of the street. But your most-realistic ideal kind of guy. Flawless in every way except he's less than six feet tall. How short is too short for you?

Assume they both find you very attractive. These 2 aren't your ideal physical type but look good enough in your eyes.

One of them will make you more drawn in. Who has the better chance?
