Sure, I am still young, well sort of. But realize that I have never called a girl my girlfriend all throughout my middle school, high school, college-age years, and beyond, except for a week, but it was awkward and she turned into a trangender dude a few years later.

Moat men and women have had at least a significant other, if not multiple exes and current boyfriend/gfs by now.

Fuck, even a lot of people are getting engaged and married at my age, yet I have never had an actual girlfriend. One one my good friends is already married by age 21.

My biggest set back is that I cannot get over a woman's romantic past, especially relationships she formed when she was younger. I will always stick by that and for reasons I believe are good.

In addition, I am an Aspie and still live at home and on disability. I am probably a late bloomer in maturity and many other aspects of life too.

I'm technically married but separated from my wife, to cut a long story short we was together for 12years,10weeks ago I suffered a nervous breakdown because I stupidly tried to bury instead of confront PTSD issues I had, I ended up being put in a crisis house some miles away, wife said she loved me and was gonna support me, but swiftly moved all my stuff out instead when I wasn't there to my parents house and told them I'm not to contact her again.
I was shocked at this, we rarely argued and I was at my lowest, I lost my house, car, job, pets, everything basically overnight. I hadn't really bothered with my mates over the years because she was my best friend and that's all I needed.
Now, I've been put in a hotel and i'd say the hardest thing for me to deal with right now is the lonelyness, I started seeking new friends via a chat app and met a great girl from California who works as a nurse, (I'm in the UK) she's 10years younger than me but we really seem to have a connection, she's well out of my usual league, we chat everyday and my feelings towards her are getting stronger and stronger, I feel she feels the same as she's talking about booking flights in Jan/Feb to come and see me. The problem is my confidence, I know I've got absolutely nothing to offer her and i know she can do much better than me, afterall, I'm 38 and have NOTHING, haven't even got my health at the moment because I've got a badly trapped nerve in my back which effects my mobility at present. I haven't hidden anything from her including the fact I may be homeless when the coronavirus dies down (hotel payed for by the council because the homeless aren't allowed on the streets at present)
I just want to know, from a female perspective, out of all the people she could get with in the world has she picked me? I have more baggage than British Airways.
The other issue however is the wife, she decided last week she wants me back and I told her to do one, was that wise given my present circumstances?

Question especially for women as you have a biological clock that runs out faster than men.

A lot of young people now are saying..."I don't want kids", dont want family, don't want to get married... just friends with benefits, play around, sex with girls, etc.. Some portion of this generation seems to be experimenting with every possible thing... except with what is normal... find mate, get married, have offspring. Granted, some of you are and having a hard time finding that mate.

So question remains, will you regret if you fail to put effort into finding a mate and having family of your own?

I see no regrets if you try for what you want and can't find... that's something else.
