I am a skinny guy and I don't have a great body. I mean I am not anorexic or rail thin, but I am on the thinner side and don't have a lot of muscle (though I have some of course). But for some reason I only get approached and get stares from girls who are either slim or fit and athletic (even those who are 100 times more athletic and sporty than me). I know most guys are attracted to these girls but not me. I am attracted to curvier girls.

I don't think many guys share such a preference like me, but why do I never get any looks from these girls? They don't look at me even if I stare at them, like I am invisible to them. At the same time I don't even need to do anything to get looks from thin and athletic girls and I even get approached by them! What a paradox, those girls who are considered hotter think I am good looking while those girls who don't get much love don't even see me!

Why are curvy girls not interested in me? Do they prefer fatter guys or guys who are more muscular? I know it's shallow to reject fit girls just because they are fit but I can't help who I am attracted to.

I am a fit guy with defined muscles and a six pack but I am not as big as those bodybuilders. I am happy with my body but the problem is that I am attracted to bigger girls i. e. girls with some meat or just big boned girls. I know many guys are attracted to curvy girls but by bigger I mean much bigger than your "hot girl". I might date a girl up to 200 lbs or even more if she holds weight well. These girls are all 200 lbs. But the problem is that they are much bigger than me, I am only 5'10'' and 145-150 lbs. It is generally thought that the guy must be the bigger one but I don't care, I like whom I like and can't change it. I dated skinny girls and they didn't turn me on as much as big girls do. Bigger girls, would you date a guy that is smaller than you or you'll feel too insecure around him? I tried approaching bigger girls but they weren't very enthusiastic about it. Is it because they don't believe I may actually like them or they are disgusted by the idea of dating a smaller guy? I only get hit on by skinny girls so their size is certainly the reason.

Lots of them are considered very hot but for some reason I have always been attracted to soft curvy/ chubby girls who don't work out. I just can't imagine being with a bony or muscular girl. But bigger girls don't like me! I am attractive and smart, I have a deep voice but my skinniness ruins it all. They sometimes call me weak though I am not.
I try to become bigger but it's very hard with my genetics. Do I have to settle for hot skinny girls or there is any chance for me to get a curvy girl?
