I've been seeing a girl for 2 months. she's a single mother and works full time. When i first started talking to her i found she was being evasive when i mentioned meeting up. She said that she's always busy and struggles to find a baby sitter. She did invite me over to her house to watch a movie and have food. Since she came out of hospital she hasn't been as responsive to messages and takes longer to reply. I saw her walking past where i work with a guy. She stopped and waved but it got me thinking about who he was. I went to hers that night, she told me he was a friend. She seemed distant but she was very tired. I tried to put my arms around her when we were on the couch but she said "how close do you want to get?". I backed away. She started to fall asleep so i decided to leave. When i left i hugged and kissed her again. But i wanted to kiss her for a second time on the lips. She offered her cheek instead saying "the cheek is more romantic"

She has casually referred to herself as my girlfriend and to me as her boyfriend in the past.
I sent her a message asking where we stand and she replied with "i can't remember saying about being your girlfriend and you being my boyfriend. Im, not after anything at the moment. Im sorry if you got the wrong idea"
Is this the end? Or is it just a case of seeing how things go without taking it too serious?

Let's say you go on a date or you meet a guy at a party or whatever, and eventually there is the opportunity to have sex (whether after the date or at the party itself or whatever).

You start kissing each other etc and it escalates to the point where now it seems obvious the next thing coming is actual sex (penetration).

But suddenly, the guy stops, and tells you that, this time, he doesn't want to rush it, and would like to wait and take his time with you. He doesn't want to do it "the first" night with you.

What would be your reaction to this?
