Search Results: should i date girls my age

It is a weird question, but some people I hang out with were having a dumb debate about the age gap between one of the girls who went to our achool finding a 40 something year old man and started coining out with him. One goes on to say it is gross, because 18 year olds still have the kinda of teens and it can lead to manipulation like with any other teen. On the other hand, the other said she's an adult, so who tf cares.
What's your stance on this? I agree with the latter. People need to get over age gaps that are between 2 adults.

So, there’s this guy i like. Whenever we would be around each other, or when talking over the phone, even alone, it was fun and we would talk about anything and everything and it wouldn’t get awkward at all. We would constantly laugh around each other and it would be the best. He’s such a kind person and would never hurt anyone purposely.

ALL our friends (we had mutual friends) would tease us and, mine personally, would always tell me how great we looked together and that i should date him.

I kept denying it, saying it wouldn’t happen or that i didn’t like him, because i didn’t want it to become a huge deal. Later on, it turns out that he had actually liked me for a while, and the rumor was that he was planning on asking me out.

Me with my crippling fear of relationships, awkwardness, and rejection, still denied it. I was scared. So, i guess he heard that i “didn’t like him“, and it never happened.

Within a week, he does something that nobody ever thought he would do and isn’t like him at all. He’s talking heavy to one of my friends, and she’s really happy with him. He’s kinda awkward around her, but he says he likes being with her. He was my friend before all this, and same with her, and so they’re always around me, constantly being together and it hurts to see them together when i’m right there, and even though they aren’t dating yet it’s pretty obvious that they might and every time i see it i know i could’ve just prevented it if i wasn’t so scared for no reason

Everybody was shocked when they found out he did that, and NOBODY was happy about it. He didn’t even tell his best friends. This might sound super conceited but, a lot of my friends were rooting for us, and when he suddenly moved on to the next girl it was a shock.

I’m running out of characters to write, but, trust me when i say this is completely out of character for him.

My friends say he’s rebounding, but i’m skeptical. Should i just move on?
