Search Results: How to get over someone who told you they dont

i have never met this girl. but apparently they are friends. he told me he's friend with her and her boyfriend. apparently this guy has been drinking heavily and they have a kid together. our realtionship hasn't been as good as it could be lately. we have been fighting a lot, and i have been super depressed after having our baby, and he seems more concerened with what this girl is going through and making sure she's okay than me? i just dont get it. i mean i dont feel the need to go out of my way and message my guy friends asking about their relationship problems. im not sure if im overreacting with how i feel about it and just being insecure because of the past. at least he asked me if it was okay before hand rather than just doing it. i guess its just upsetting because i feel like he should be focusing on our relationship problems and not someone else's. he said he wanted them to stay together and he would message her boyfriend instead. i dont know am i getting worked up over nothing? we have trust issues in our relationship we are both trying to work on, and we had problems before with him being flirtiaous and romantic with another one of his girl "friends" who was actually married in the past. so it's not actually like im convinced her having a boyfriend would stop anything from getting out of hand. im trying to move on from that situation, and learn how to trust him again, but i still can't help but feel worried when it comes to these situations, can y'all blame me for feeling this or what?

i really think it can be done. i have plenty of guy friends but its annoying that people always assume we're dating.

I made a good friend at work. Even though he is a guy, i feel like he is a girl friend to me. I whine to him a lot, i tell him about my boy problems and he tells me about his girl problems. He knows who i like and he is trying to help me get with the guy i like, but i am so difficult and awkward. he says i am annoying. we text all the time but its usually about the boy i like or something relating to that or about work. we tag eachother in pictures on instagram. and so some people at work have asked if we're dating. i always make a sarcastic remark. if we were, or we liked eachother, we wouldn't tell eachother who we like, let alone help eachother get at the other person. but people dont understand. plus, I've seen him when he really likes someone and he told me. he used to like my best friend. he would go all out for her, buy her stuff, try to win her over. he's not like that with me so i know he just see me as a friend or possibly annoying little sister. i am treated like one of the guys, sort of and i dont mind.

and I've made friends at school. there is one guy i always stick with. we hang out at school. we dont text all the time. but we had classes together and we would help eachother out. this semester, we dont have any classes together but he texted me and we've hung out and he wants me to walk him to class. we've discussed dating too. so i know he doesn't like me that way either.

its kind of annoying though. like people have no idea. I've never even dated before. they assume im dating my guy friends but they have no idea that i actually like someone else. only those close to me, like them, can tell i like who i like. but then again, im starting to worry, i hope the guy i like doesn't think anything of this.

i strongly believe friendships can be formed between anyone. but what do you guys think?
