There's this girl I was certain liked me, and she's always been kind of shy/awkward with me (just me no one else). She found out that I liked her from me and would be willing to go on a date with her (in a note which was stupid but I never had a legitimate chance to talk to her about it). Since then, she hasn't ignored or avoided me, pretty much the opposite. She hasn't gone up to me to talk to me about it, but at the same time she's always been shy with me. The one time she ever tried talking to me she froze up completely, but ever since we first met, whenever I go to talk to her she immediately smiles and gives me complete attention. And I've often seen her take glances and long looks at me before when she thinks I can't see her, and if I look over at her she'll look away and pretend it wasn't happening. She's made it more obvious she's looking over in my direction and has tried getting my attention once since I gave her the note.

One time she was leaving, about to get to the exit as I was walking in her direction. She looked over at me and just stood at the exit with her hand on the door knob staring at me. I looked back and we held eye contact up until I walked by her, when I broke eye contact. She left right after. She's never been able to hold eye contact with me before, ever, nonetheless initiate it. If I caught her looking at me before, she'd always immediately look away. She hasn't approached me about the note, but she hasn't necessarily avoided/ignored me either.
