Okay so I recently got teamed up with a new partner at work and I must add that I recently had asked the universe if I had a soulmate because the woman I was with says all the time that we are soulmates but I don't feel it because she has cheated on me and more then likely more then once and has lied several times to my face so I felt that if their is a soulmate for everyone this can't be mine.
Anyway my partner at work kind of seems as though she jokes around with all the guys there almost like flirting and stuff but she is different a little towards me like she doesn't play and joke around like that with me, she vents to me about all the shitty stuff her husband does to her, she told me that I could drive her vehicle if I want to go get lunch but tells me she hates when her husband drives it and doesn't want him driving it plus she hasn't even had it a month yet, she told me one day that she doesn't know how to flirt with somebody even if she wanted to, but she also says she loves her husband and that she is not the type to cheat on her man and the guy that I thought she was flirting with I guess sent her messages telling her about Nike clothes at Nike store and she was talking back until he sent pics of himself in the clothes and she stopped responding and the next night he sent more pics of himself and she didn't respond because she doesn't like him like that and has a man, but then later a fellow worker that is gay said to her after she said she is on second marriage third times a charm and she said not gonna be a third time and he asked if her marriage was good and she told him not really, she says she has worked with every other person there and that she won't work with anybody else but me, she said she likes all kinds of music but only named rappers off to me and I said I like metal and last few days she been listening to metal or hard rock, she listens to songs that are about being alone, says she likes guy with meat on his bones and I'm not skinny.

If sex and dating was completely not an option/impossible among all those involved and everyone just treated each other platonically, do you think boys and men would get along better with girls and women? I use "males and females" because I'm talking about both boys and girls, among men and women.

I'm a teacher and although I notice boys and girls almost always sit apart from each other (usually, all the boys on the left of the class, and all the girls on the right side), they still generally get along with each other and don't have any animosity or issues that modern adult men and women have. I've taught in three different academies here in Korea over the course of two years, and this remains consistent throughout every class, unless it's all boys or all girls. Although I think some subconscious things keep the boys and girls separated, they still can peacefully co-exist with each other in a way that modern men and women don't seem to do.

In short, boys and girls under the age of 14 seem to get along MUCH better than adult men and women do.

So it's really fascinating. I think sex and post-puberty changes how males and females interact with each other, and causes the sexes to find even less in common with each other and harder to relate. I myself certainly don't understand why women behave the way they do (often, negatively).

But what do you think?

When I say “dangerous” I don’t mean a guy making some asshole remark like “fuck you cunt” or something else when a woman (politely) turns him down. Him showing some frustrated anger is NOT getting “dangerous”. It might not be appropriate and even creepy. But there is a fine line between him being sour grapes vs. being a legitimate threat.

I’m talking about a guy seriously getting physically violent, legitimately threatening violence or aggressively stalking afterwards. I’m talking in person stalking too (not stalking on social media). Like showing up at the woman’s house or at her work.

I do believe men like this exist. I make zero excuses for them and it’s twisted/wrong. But I also believe they are very rare (less than 1 out of a 1000 men). Instead women get paranoid because of ANECDOTAL evidence. They read a story online or hear of friend of a friend having a legitimately scary incident. Then they get this bogey man complex about men in general.

I say this because I think this paranoia has made women progressively worse in the last few years at tactfully rejecting men. They rather play games, ghost and of course friend zone and rationalize it to themselves out of a misplaced paranoia. When in reality all they have to say is “hey thanks for approaching me but I have to be honest I’m not interested”’. While no guy likes hearing that the reality is 99% of men out there will accept that and move on.

But why is it so hard for women to be (politely) honest? I think the so called rise of the “incel” community is partially attributed to men being frustrated about not getting direct communication from women. The game playing does more psychological damage then they realize.

Most men can take rejection especially in our mid 20s or older. We are used to sticking our necks out and taking the risk. It unfortunately comes with the territory but it is how it is.

There's a story idea I had, where my character was a magical entity, who travels to a different city in North America every month, finding good, caring, wholesome, but unhappy people. 90-99% of the people in any given city are not good, wholesome, or caring, let alone all of those things but down on their luck or unhappy, so finding them is hard. Whoever I could strike up a conversation with, and discover that the pass the "good person" trials through conversation, my character would grant their one greatest wish, as long as it was limited to themselves or close family members or friends (no wishing for world peace or for dinosaurs to come back or anything).

The first guy, was small and sickly, like pre-serum Steve Rogers. He had sickle cell anemia or something. After discovering he was a truly good and humble man through conversation in a bar, my character initiated the final test and asked him for $20. He gave it to me, so the next day, he woke up with perfect health, as well as a body better-than-new. He was now fully healed and his mother no longer had to pay for his medical bills.

The second person, was a short pale blonde woman who was kind to others, but hated herself and her looks severely. She was more pragmatic and jaded in life than the first man, but she was still a good person; her self-hatred just kept her kind side a little supressed. After talking to her, my character asked her for $20, which she eventually gave a "what the hell" agreement to. The next day, she woke up 5'11" with 34DD's, a gorgeous clear-skinned face, and a perfect gym body, like a supermodel or Olympic athlete. She looked in the mirror and started crying with joy.

My character then continues the search for a new deserving person to grant another wish to. If the person is bad or undeserving, it can cause unforeseen chaos and trouble to the local world around them. So they have to be good, deserving people to mitigate any negative consequences to happen.
