Search Results: frustrated with a date for not making a move

I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 21. We have dated for 7 months now but before we dated we knew each other for a year. When I'm with him, everything is so simple. Talking about anything and everything is always so fun, even when it is just about our day. We know each other very well now, we are completely unmasked, and I always feel at home with him. He's the first person that I've ever felt this clingy towards. He is one of few I have fun with hanging out one-on-one.
But it's finals week. I'm used to seeing him for a couple hours every day, but sometimes he has to study for an exam for a day or two. Whenever this happens, I get really lonely. My roommate also moved out so I'm in a room by myself. I have a friend group, but we don't hang out individually because we click better as a group, and some members are living off-campus so we can't get together every night like we used to. It takes a very special person for me to like hanging out with them one-on-one since I do much better in groups, and because of that, when he leaves I don't have much to do.
The hobbies I tried to develop fell through (making bracelets--I broke the needle. Got frustrated as hell) and clubs on campus seem more interested in spicing up resumes rather than actually doing stuff. I'm a little different, so are my friends, so it's hard to find someone for me to really enjoy being around.
So I'll sit in my dorm, watch YouTube and I'll feel guilty for wasting the day away. I get great grades and everything, I work out and try to eat healthily, but I guess I want to know-what are fun, cheap, productive things to do by yourself? I hate to burden him. Is it unhealthy how much I cling onto him? Is it weird I have issues with one-on-one relationships?

I have liked 'Leith' for a few years. We were not quite friends when he asked me out. I had known him a few months, liked him, but did not want to become vulnerable. We went on a few dates then i just faked disinterest. I thought he'd ignore me forever, but we started working in the same place last year and he did ignore me initially but eventually we started talking. He initiated. I thought it odd he was not mad, but i figured he somehow understood i had not been ready and forgave me.

A few months later feeling there was still a connection and he still liked me, i asked him out. He became flustered so i thought i read things wrong, and understood he would not want to try again even if attracted. He said he was interested but i didn't think so bc he responded so oddly. I thought we can be friends. maybe.

We were walking to school a month later and he asked me out. I was kind of annoyed bc id already forced myself to move on and think of him as NOTHING more than a friend. He sensed my lack of eagerness & said never mind he understood.

We continued being friendly, two months later i decided i had not moved on-bc every time i was asked out I thought of him- I still liked him and needed a firm no before moving on.

Well he became frustrated and asked why i was asking as if it was not right, but he did not say no. Im wondering if he is angry id ask him out bc its no longer my right. He asked me out bc he never rejected me--or he's just mad about the whole thing. Or confused and not making sense?

I would understand if he had ALWAYS remained angry. But to be friendly then ask me out then get upset--I don't understand. Unfortunately i like him quite a bit by now, i really wanted to get a no if i could not get a yes.

Maybe he was always angry, just hid it?

I hate limbo.

Should i just tell him i'm ready to give dating a try. I understand after the chaos if he is not interested, just to please directly tell me, then i won't bother him any more?
