This is kind of one of those awkward questions because you know in all honesty most people wouldn't consider it because of the extra baggage that comes along with that kind of relationship. Regardless I like throwing these kind of questions out there just to see different opinions. I myself have been injured for about 12 years. My injury is in my neck so I'm paralyzed from the upper chest down. I have about 50% use of my arms but 0% use of my fingers so I'm pretty close to a full-blown vegetable. I've not really thought about seeking out a relationship but it has been on my mind whether people would really want that kind of emotional and physical burden. I know burden probably isn't the right word and probably sounds really jaded but it is what it is.

And I'm not talking about Ephebophilia. Yes, it is illegal for an adult to sleep with a 15 or 16 year old in most states/countries, but the attraction itself isn't either illness or "bad". The American Association of Psychiatry does not consider ephebophilia pathology or mental disorder.

Now, to my point. Are pedophiles evil even if they don't act on their wishes? I just think having attraction for an 8 year old is just sick. It doesn't register in my brain as something humane, even if it's NEVER acted upon.

At the same time if I judge these people it only makes matters worst. By pointing fingers on pedophiles they might actually burst and commit the act of pedophilia, or commit suicide worst committing a murder. So I think they should immediately be referred to getting help/therapy.
