If someone says ' it was important to the to get to know you. because they know people who met randomly then got married , and they dont like to waste opportunties'.

Does that mean they are critiquing you for marriage material? Im not asking if he wants to marry me. That'd be absurd. Im just asking from what he's saying which feels stressful--is he going to be assessing me from some kind of abstract standard that shouldn't actually aply to us atm.

Because i find this awkward and stressful. We have known each other a year-but barely- we just started dating, i dont think he should even have that as a reason at this point, and im not onterestyed in being vetted. i like him, and id like to get to know him better, but this makes me uncomfortable.

He either meant i make him think of marriage bc its how he thinks, or he thought id like to ear it bc i think that way. both scenerios make me uncomfortable. I dont even know if i want to get to know him under tihs weiord kind of vague pressure. I've never even dated let alone be in a relationship let alone even remotely consuder thinking of marriage in the slighrtst sense. So im just not comfortable , even if he meant it as a euphemism for he's glad were going to get to know each other. bc he could just say that if thats what he meant. just dont feel like being judged unnecessaerily. And if he's alrerady got something in mind, ill be held up against that. I just wanted to ake things one minute- maybe an hour- at a time.

We're going to talk about announcements. Usually these have innocuous titles like "Treat Yo Self This Valentine's Day: Enter To Win A $50 Amazon Gift Card‏" and discuss "relevant" MyTakes like Valentine's date ideas or whatever.

That was not the case with today's email that arrived in my inbox. First of all it's titled "Threesomes Examined, What Sort of Sex Makes You Squeal?‏"

Uhhhhhh... that is not workplace appropriate. Does G@G like to conveniently forget that many of their users are not only under 18 but also view their email from work or in public?

Okay. So Is it just me or are almost all of these prey on either some sexual topic (NSFW) or insecurities (which is another topic for another day)? Many of them would have also have made a better title. OR G@G could have even gone for a general Takes Of The Week or some other type of newsy title.

Ex was a great person; loving, caring, affectionate, loyal, ie. talked about marriage and a future together, he was definitley husband material. about a year ago he became more interested in partying, drinking and other girls. cheated and dumped me. we have stayed in touch but his responses are always dry. we hook up sometimes but it seems like thats all he is interested in. the other day he cut things off and said he doesn't want to see me again. could this just be a phase he is going through? we are both pretty young, so it makes sense that he has some living to do. what do you guys think?

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a year and a half. We are young, I will be 21 in April and he is 22 now. I think maybe he is trying to drop hints to me.
I was talking about my friend and her boyfriend to him. Her boyfriend wants to marry her ( I disaprove). They don't have a good enough relationship for that. He started to tell me he don't think they are even engagement material. Even if they are engaged for a while he said he think it would be to rocky for them to even think of engaging. Then he's like valentines day is coming up and I know you don't like me getting you thing but I going to get you it anyways. Then he was like I will probably give it to you early (he always does then gives me something on the occasion). It is sweet, he says it is more of a surprise. Well anyways, he is like, I don't know if you would like it though because it requires change and then I said to him. I probably will like it. Then I got to thinking hum... What requires change? Early in our conversation we were debating about moving out of town and in with one another as well. I probably just am over thinking this and he knows how I feel on marriage ( 2-3 years before you go into it). I just don't know anything that would be change. I am just curious, has anyone been through this? Do you think I am over thinking ( probably am) ? Do you think he is actually going to ask me?

I know some women who are strippers and are not too shy about it. Looking at them in regular life you'd never guess. Smart, attractive and tasteful, it's almost shocking to imagine them undressing for money at night...

Not all are the same of course I guess.. and it really depends on a girl. But let's say they don't do anything illegal and don't have sex with their clients.

Question to both: why are strippers so stigmatized? Would you be friends or consider one as a marriage material?

I saw a video on Facebook were Tamera from The Real said that during high school and college she struggled to date. She thought something was wrong with her because no guy would approach her but later in life she was told it was because she was always marriage material.
