What do you think looks best on girls? Do you think it interferes a lot on how a girl looks?

Just a little insight on why I'm asking: I have waist-length, wavy, raven hair and honestly, I love it, but it annoys me so much. I mean yeah it's beautiful and it draws a lot of attention to me but taking care of it is just so much work. I really want to get a haircut and make it shoulder-length so it's easier to deal with it, but I know my hair makes me more attractive and guys usually compliment me on it a lot.

Think:
Vintage high waist Levi's
Dr. Martens
Black ripped skinny jeans
Oversized vintage sweaters (usually plain and in neutral colors)
Basic boyfiend-fit tees
Also no makeup-other than a barely-there lipstick, and my hair is cut very short.

I also major in art history at an elite art school so I'm often writing, researching or working somehow (so I like to have a comfortable "uniform" going on).

I also do buy certain things from the guy's section, often sweaters (which are better quality and cheaper). I even have this denim jacket and have seen some guys with the same one.

However, for the (rare) night out, I get out the black dress and berry lipstick with flats or heels. As you see, either way I keep things simple.
I do love nail polish, in white, red, blues.

I used to not mind, as it's just my personal look, but now I'm starting to wonder if that's why guys are reluctant to approach me. Some of them look at me, even those that I think are attractive, but they don't say anything. This has happened to me for a while. What do you think?

Also, I'm black, so I don't know if that has influence (and most black girls that I know dress up every day).

I want to know if you guys at the moment of choosing a girl pay attention to her hair?
Did you as a guy think woman's hair is important? And if you feel more attracted to woman with long or short hair?

Josh is 25 years old and overweight. he lives with his mother and spends most of his time eating or playing video games. his mom works 9 to five and has two jobs so she can make ends meet. Josh wants to be a famous rapper like ice cube and often makes his mom buy more video games. his mother passed out at work due to overworking herself. josh suggested she finds a different job and asks for more video games. josh has a 16 year old friend named nelson who works at wallmart. sometimes he makes fun of nelson for having nappy hair, being short and looking younger then 16. nelson laughs it off but it makes him feel insecure. josh also makes fun of Nelson's 14 year old sister for having a afro. he tells her how ugly her hair looks, how her face is hideous and how she will never be actor because she won't straighten her hair to be pretty like normal girls. ( he doesn't say this around nelson)

what do you think of Josh?

You know like now looking back at uggs for instance we just cringe, or gelled spiky hair of the 2000s LOL, or the juicy velvet tracksuits. 😂 Comment below if you have some other ideas.

Shirt Dress for guys - Seen this style a lot for the past 2-3 years... I smile a little every time cause it looks like they have a long body and short legs. 😂
Flashlight Bright Highlights - Over the past very few years I've seen girls cheeks getting brighter than my future LOL. WHERE IS THIS BRIGHT LIGHT SUPPOSED TO REFLECT FROM?
Emoji Clothing - Need I really make a comment on this? 😂
Cage Skirt - Especially with what looks like underwear underneath... Seen this a lot this year, and I don't see the appeal... Just looks odd, my eyes feel like its some kind of strange illusion going on.
TOO Ripped Jeans - The holes are getting bigger after every year 😂 Ripped jeans are okay to an extent but if I can almost see the back of your bare legs, then jisus christ woman. (actually seen this on guys too lately tbh...)

I would do more but there's just too many. Let me know down below if you agree and/or have any other trends of this year or since 2015 we'll look back on in shame and confusion as to how we thought that looked good.
