He had been sneaking glances for awhile then was a bit more overt and was even clearly flustered before I started striking up conversations with him.

All the body language is good or whatever and I had ZERO doubt he was very interested. The inly thing was that he never asked. me about myself but he has been observing me for a awhile.

Told his co worker I was interested in the hopes it would make him more relaxed once word got back to him.

It made him super nervous since he was hiding from me a but but I struck up a convo and got some stuff from his station.

The next time he saw me he left his station to run into me and was super comfortable.

Anyway, we exchanged numbers. He was a bit amazed and watched me walk out of the store the whole time.

I messaged him first and he replied.

*There is a langauge barrier*.

I messaged him asking about his profile photo because it seemed to be a joke in his language and I wanted to get it.

He took it that I meant I wanted his photo which he sent instantly (suspect since it was him in this really crisp outfit that he clearly didn't take right then) then he asked for mine.

I don't send photos and I said there was a misunderstanding since I didn't want his photo.

He responded with 'hhhhhh' and has gone dead silent.

Sent a message a day later complimenting him saying "I already know you're cute I don't need a photo. Let's talk later?"

I've been left on read for days so I don't expect to hear back.

I have this guy friend who I really like. Don't think I've ever actually had feelings for someone as strong as for him. He's incredible, and I know just from our friendship that he is someone I wouldn't even have second thoughts about wanting to spend my whole life with him. But it's so hard. Because he loves to be around me, yet I don't think he feels the same way. He is a year and a half younger too, and while mature, I don't think he's thinking about any girl in that way. So it hurts me everytime I'm with him because I know my love grows and he just sees me as a good friend. I already sense the heartbreak coming in a year or two when he finds some pretty shiny girl.

My question is whether or not talking to his older sister about it would help. We've been growing closer, and I really love her, but I would really hate for her to think I'm only friendly with her because of him. She's so loving and protective of him, and they're so close. I just worry because I think her finding out is inevitable, if not already present. But at the same time, her knowing could help our friendship blossom because right now if feels like I'm hiding something from her.

I was considering just taking her out to breakfast one day and talking about the fact that I like him, why I like him, why I don't want her to take it the wrong way, why I value her, and to just be honest about my fears and struggles in regards to him.

But I don't know. The last time I liked a guy, his sister knew, and that was the best and most comforting thing ever. But I don't know if that would happen this time around... What do y'all think?
