Almost 30, live independently, have a stable job and few friends but I've never been in a relationship or gone past first base. I'm straight and consider myself not to be bad to the eyes but lack when it comes to dating as I was always a nerd when growing up but now I've felt like I've blossomed and started caring more about having a romantic life. Yet I'm not into the party scene and can be socially awkward at times. Everyone usually assumes I have a boyfriend but few only know the deal. Should it be something I hide or be proud of? What can I do to meet a decent guy? Thanks

So I've started hanging out with this guy from work. He's super different from my regular crowd he's 21 and I'm 18. He drinks and goes to crazy parties and I'm more of a nerd. He always teases me because I'm so "innocent". He's like crazy attractive and we talk a lot at work. He asked me out for coffee a few times before I went over to his house to hang out. Our first hangout is when we kissed for the first time and the second hangout we made out a bit, but he's been terribly considerate, and doesn't seem to want to go further than that, or ask me to go further (although he knows I've done it all before) , which surprises me because he always talks about all the girls he's banged. We text a bit back and forth and he's always fun to talk to and be around.
He always talks about how people tell him that he's just a phase to me. Like a "bad boy" phase. I don't know if when he talks about that it's because he hopes he's just a phase or because he hopes he's not.
