Search Results: better than him in sports

Think about it this way. The guys who have the best overall lives are athletes. They are the guys women love/chase the most consistently from high school throughout life and the guys who usually had hot girlfriends all the way back in high school and continued to get them well into college. They never got picked on, they were popular and they had an overall good social life.

These are the guy woman still chase and fantasize over, if they make it big well after college and we see that jocks overall just have better lives than nerds who only seem to get appreciated by people post college when all their sacrifice studying lands them a nice job.

So to me it makes more sense that more guys if they want a good life should focus most of their interest on sports and use education as a fall back. What do you guys think?

Now this is not to say if your born rich your going to live long and if your born poor your going to die at a younger age.

However, if you were born into low income family with 2 parents making minimum wage then more often than not your family will have genetic predisposition to certain chronic diseases such as diabetes and the max potential you can live up to decreases. What i'm getting at is your family more often than not would have a higher incidence of people suffering from chronic disease based on poor lifestyle choices and lack of access to medical care that could have prevented the disease via early screening.

In addition, the quality of food you'll have access to for poor socioeconomic family would be unhealthy/poor quality (think fast food) which could lead to you developing problems later in life.

For example - Let say your dad works at KFC and he brings home chicken MC nuggets for you to eat frequently. Eating cheap fast food will clog your arteries and down the line predispose you to developing atherosclerosis, CVD, Hypertension and strokes. Even access to things to keep a child healthy like introducing them to gym, jogging or swimming club might be too far out of reach or unattainable to offer from lack of funds and/or unsafe neighborhood environment.

Even if we argue that this person can move up in social ranking via education and move to a place where they have better access to food, safer environment to work out, and can now afford to exercise the effect of eating badly while they were under their parents roof would cause them to have a higher risk of developing chronic diseases and/or there complications. Contrast this to someone who started out in a good stable household. They have a higher chance of surviving longer because they would have access to better quality food, screening for diseases and there parents would have the money to introduce them to clubs/sports so they can get exercise.
