Search Results: dating a girl who never dated before

So my 30th birthday is coming up and I feel a bit down about it. One thing that gets me down is I'm going to be 30 and still a virgin. Not just that but I also never actually had a girlfriend. Actually I never even kissed a girl. This makes me feel like some weirdo or a loser.

I mean I have gone on a few dates before but not many, less then 10. I have had a handful of women ask me out on dates but for the most part I would just turn them down since I wouldn't be interested in them.

I only asked out a few women myself, less then have asked out me. But the thing for me is I find I have to get to know a girl and become her friend before I start to find myself interested in dating her. So by this point they usually just see me as a friend or they have lost interest in me or they were never interested in me to begin with. That and I am just horrible at picking up on when someone is flirting with me or is interested in me, I just assume they are being friendly.

I like to think that I'm a normal, nice guy. But just had bad luck. That and I'm a bit of an introvert so I have trouble meeting and opening up to new people. I wouldn't consider myself unattractive and I have had many women tell me they find me attractive so I don't see it as that. Whenever anyone mentions my past relationships or sexual partners I just lie since I find it so embarrassing.

I'm curious what women think of a guy like me. Do they see me as weird and a loser? Would they actually have an interest in dating a guy like me or no? What are just their general thoughts on a guy like me? Any advice you have for me to help me change this situation I'm in? Give me your honest opinion.

I'm an average height guy who likes tall women. I understand that some can't get over the height differennce, and I still want to put my preference in my dating profile or tell a date that sometime if they feel bad about their height. Also, if they're around my height or taller and go out with me, that tells me they have confidence and aren't bothered by the height difference. I still pay attention to who they are as a person, but I figure if I compliment them on their stature, they may feel fetishized.

I've been called hurtful things before for stating other preferences in conversation with people, like how I want someone who takes care of themselves. I'm by no means the hottest guy in the world, but my ideal partner doesn't fit society's standards, so I might fit someone elses, too. I'm never mean to anyone for their looks, but feel I can't be honest with a woman if that's why I reject them because it could hurt their feelings.
