I don't think that exclusion is sexist oppression but rather a matter of physicality. People with flat feet are not allowed in the military on the basis of their flat feet. Is that oppression against people with flat feet? If flat feet can be considered reason for exclusion, so can having a female body.

Females could effectively wield a weapon but what happens when their weapons are stripped from them? Yes, flat feet are a medical condition and being female is technically not. However, being female is a physical condition (i. e. “the condition or state of the body or bodily functions”), which, on the basis of physical characteristics, I think could fairly exclude someone from combat.

Men with 1 or 0 testicles are also excluded from combat. Wouldn’t it be equality to also exclude women from combat on the basis of having zero testicles? Especially since testicles, and the accompanying testosterone they produce, are what makes a man have enough brute strength & aggression to be more psychologically and physically suited for combat.
In this vein, women can be allowed into combat if they have 2 testicles (trans women have testicles, so it's possible), just like men.

Rather, men and women simply have different functions! Is an eye superior to an ear, or vice versa? No, they just have different functions!
