So the outcry is because white people believe the TV show will be racist because they perceived the movie to be racist against them, mostly because of the title alone. However, the argument from (most) people, including other white people, is that the movie is about what it means to be black and the struggles they have that many white people do not thus not making it racist.


Yet many white people are still unsubscribing from Netflix due to the series despite Netflix having a slew of series and movies that could be classified as racist or having racist episodes and characters such as Pocahontas (indians being called savages), The Cleveland Show, South Park, etc. Therefore, if they have a problem with 'Dear White People', then they should have a problem with racist depictions of all ethnic groups, not just white people.


Should Netflix pull the series or do people need to grow a spine?

I tried to make a generalized poll, but out of pure curiosity, which ethinic/racial group has the worst negative stereotypes? We all have one, but who do you think has to deal with with the worst ones?

Keep in mind, I'm asking about the WORST, not the most.


Also, if any of the wording in the poll results are offensive, I apologize, not trying to defend. I tried to be as sensitive as possible.
