So I did it, I decided to go bald. I'm 20 years old and turning 21 in January and I've been balding since I was 17 😢. For the last forever I had the "viking look", really long hair with a beard. When I noticed that my crown was thinning last year I started wearing a hat all the time to hide it and used rogaine.
But a couple days ago I noticed it was thinning too much and the rogaine I was using for 5 months wasn't working, so I decided to bite the bullet and donate my hair to children with hair loss while I had enough. I turned on the trimmers with no guard, closed my eyes and went for it almost crying (I'm a bitch).
But when I opened my eyes to look at the monstrosity that I've become, I was shocked to see that it actually looks really good on me. No weird shapes, bumps, marks or anything, hmm. Then I stood there for 10 minuted debating whether I should go the next step, but I ended up doing it anyway. I blew the dust off my old facial hair trimmers and put on the largest guard for a heave stubble and I took most of the beard off. After it was done I thought "damn I look good", I forgot how strong my chin and jawline was, why did I hide it all this time?
So I stood there at the mirror wondering why I haven't done this years ago. I looks so much more handsome and masculine, and it was all hiding under all that hair. I really like my new look, so much so that I think I might go clothes shopping today.

this is a very personal question and it's kinda long, k? So, I'm a very awkward person, like omega level awkward, and I have this strange thing that happens with me, wherever I go, girls stare at me intensely, guys do it too but not as much, now i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, maybe they're attracted or something considering i get catcalled quite often, they invade my personal space, and sometimes they smile at me but I'm not sure about it because sometimes it's deep stares into the eyes, or... Maybe it's a a bad thing because like I said I'm very awkward and clumsy, but I'm also not sure because sometimes they do it while I'm just standing literally doing nothing, or sitting alone handling my business and I thought maybe because of the hair and stuff but it even happens when my hair is short, so... Is it possibly a good thing or bad thing? It's getting me tired because I get sooo uncomfortable to the point i don't want to have eye contact with people
